Fixed my 2009 Civic LX 1.8L AC
I had a noisy clutch bearing and A/C had stopped working about a year ago and it fixed both problems. I removed the fender and bottom plastic, and the 4 A/C compressor bolts to have clearance to remove the pulley since it hits the frame. Pulley and stator come off with C clips and not much room in there and deep, so I ended up grinding my snap ring pliers down a bit to fit and get the depth I needed. Everything you need is in the kit, I ended up using the thinner washer to get the tolerance I needed so the clutch would engage. Take your time and watch some YouTube videos before you start, and you'll be fine. Ready for the next 250,000 miles.

Working great!
I replaced my original clutch/coil, with about 150K miles, that was really worn and would only function for a few minutes if it was warm outside. Installing on the car without undoing the compressor was possible. The snap rings were all facing the right side and I took off the side engine mount and moved the alternator out of the way to get some more room. Trickiest part outside of the snap rings was getting the bearing/pulley to slide over the coil. This kit even came with the thermal switch which alone is about $80 from Honda. I'm definitely happy with this item.

Still working over 2 years later on my 2010 civic
Fixed my issue, but then I thought it went out again, but after bypassing the relay with a jumper I found the relay went out and the clutch wouldn’t engage because of that. Tip- don’t go over 90 mph and the clutch bearing will last a loooot longer. (Less speeding tickets too).

Fixed my car
Bought this product because my compressor clutch was worn out. Swapped it with this product and adjust proper gap within manufacture spec. And now my A/C works like a charm! Other reviews show it burning up that may be installation error just make sure you use proper spacer for proper gap.

fit 2006 Honda civic
Install would be easy if compressor is on bench. On vehicle install a bit challenging but got it done. Did not want to open system as all the ac components are high mileage and do not want to introduce any unnecessary moisture. Works good but only time will tell for how long it will last.

This clutch assembly fixed the ac on my 2007 civic.
It really works and fixed the ac issue I had. Make sure you have a good set of snap ring pliers set. Those snap rings are very strong and not so easy to removed if you use cheap tools. Definitely works!!!!
