My child LOVES this book but from my opinion as a parent, there are flaws. I will say this, the book does occupy attention for quite some time which is this product’s biggest redeeming quality. However, the darn thing doesn’t have an off switch. Once a song starts playing, there is no way to stop it. The songs are midi versions of the actual songs, they don’t have words but also…I don’t recognize them from the show except for the last song in the book so I don’t know if they are actual songs from the show or songs written in the same themes as the show. Overall, this book is good but it’s one of the most annoying books we own.

I almost didn’t buy this based on negative comments in other reviews. Glad I took the chance! The music quality is fine and the volume is okay - wouldn’t have minded it being slightly less in volume but it’s not a deal breaker. I actually like this music book better than another favorite we’ve been playing for months. The song plays a good amount of time and the pages are illustrated very colorfully with Daniel Tiger and friends going about the Neighborhood with lyrics for each song right there so you can sing along. We love Daniel Tiger songs so with that and the quality of the board book we are HAPPY. I kinda wish I wasn’t singing My Happy Song for the past two days in my head but I can’t get upset because it reminds me of how much the grandbaby loved it.

Gift for a 4 year old.

Cute book however batteries were dead. No sound. My baby was very disappointed:(. Very difficult to find those batteries in stores
