After trying several different chin straps, this is my favorite model because it is adjustable with velcro at the top and back, and it has large ear holes. It slightly helps with snoring, but it definitely keeps my mouth closed for better sleep. The first few nights I had it strapped too tightly and it was uncomfortable. After loosening it a bit, it worked much better. It's best to tighten it only enough to keep the mouth lightly closed. There's no need to force the mouth to close hard. When removing in the morning, only undo the back straps and not the top, so it's easier to put back on the next night. It's worth it to keep adjusting until you get a comfortable fit that isn't too tight.

I have been trying everything ! Although I can’t exactly say it didn’t work. I can tell you it was too uncomfortable to last through the night !

For me personally, the upgrade in the material and the better quality of the product did not fit my needs. It would exceed most others’ expectations. For me, the new upgraded material was too bulky and felt heavy and cumbersome around my face. Each side came up to within 1/2 inch of each eye on either side. Probably too big. This is a much nicer, quality chin strap, but it is probably more suitable for those with bigger heads.

Products don’t work for me

It is made with a wide strap across the lower part of the head and it is wide enough that it is very comfortable not like another one that had a more narrow strap there at the back of my neck that seemed to need more tightening to be effective and caused me a pain and although similar in construction to the last one I was using this one keeps my mouth closed better and the part under your chin is wider which is good and works better for me. The construction is good and the material is good as it is not foam and I had developed an allergy to the others that I have tried with the stretchy foam. With those I started getting red spots on my face in certain spots but when I quit using them and switched to this one the spots went away and have not returned. I will be using this one from now on. Thankfully, it feels much better and is more effective.

Chin strap is made of a soft comfortable material. However, the design holds pressure on the chin in the direction of the crown of the head making it ineffective at holding the mouth closed as it is intended to do. The pressure needs to be moved forward from the crown of the head to apply proper upward pressure to keep mouth closed during sleep.

I’ve used this product for about seven months now and it absolutely is the best chin strap I have ever used. No more waking up in the morning with an unbearably dry mouth and throat. It keeps your mouth comfortably closed. This product is easy to put on, very comfortable to sleep with and stays in place. I use CPAP therapy with a nasal pillow and found I often slept with my mouth open causing great discomfort upon awakening. With this product, that doesn’t happen anymore. The material is breathable and very light weight. No more waking up in the morning with a sweaty face or breakouts like other chin straps caused. I can use my nighttime products such as moisturizers etc. without them feeling heavy on my skin like they did where the previous chin straps touched my face. It’s easy to hand wash and dries quickly. Be sure to wash it first before using otherwise it can leave black streaks on your pillowcase. The black streaks do wash out easily but for sanitary reasons we really should be washing the strap first before using. It’s held up very well and shows no signs of wear. I would highly recommend this product.

The first thing I noticed opening this was how thin and light it is, and that's a good thing. And it's dotted with lots of small holes for breathability. I bought this to replace a worn neoprene single strap that was thicker and slid all over my head at night.I like the design of this product and it works well, keeps my mouth shut and I sleep so well with it. I am very happy with this product. I write reviews once in a blue moon, and for one of two reasons - either if a product is really, really lousy, or if I had a great experience with it. In this case, it is the latter, and I highly recommend it. And follow the instructions. They say gradual tightening over consecutive nights will usually resolve any issues at first. I found that to be true.The only thing I don't like so much, and it's minor, is there's a rather thick seam on the top of the chin strap. It can be mildly uncomfortable. But adjusting its placement on the chin can rectify that. It's not enough for me to steer someone away from this product. It's only a minor drawback.
