Great collection of short stories from Julia Donaldson. I read them with my 4-year old.

Interesting stories . Beautiful illustrations. Good value for money. Mon son is in Year 1 and enjoys reading it.

Great stories for beginner readers.

My little boy loves this book. He especially likes The Wishing Elf story. This series of books are well written, well presented and nicely illustrated. They progress steadily in difficulty and don't limit to shorter words. This gives my little boy a great sense of achievement when he can read longer words.

Excellent book for our 6 year old granddaughter she enjoyed it.

These are good books as everyone has noted. But be aware that price fluctuates a lot.

The 'Songbirds' books are perfect for phonics learners. Every single word is level- appropriate and yet the stories are all interesting and engaging, even funny.Just be aware that there are three "collections" for Stage 2 Songbirds and there is clear progression between them, so you will want to read them in the correct order.

Great set of little stories for early readers. Really recommend it.
