Slick and smooth
Quite impressed with this Android box. The initial setup was a bit of a pain as it took ages to pair the remote and just could not get my head around on how to get it to work, but miraculously it started to work. I either managed to get it to work by accident or I accidentally followed the instructions and it paired up, but no matter how many times I followed the onscreen instructions, it refused to connect.Only thing I did differently was change the batteries, which aren't supplied, so that could have played a part.Anyhow, it took around 10 minutes to get setup as it must have been updating software in the background, but once it stabilised, it worked flawlessly.Switching between screens and apps is slick and flawless, and installing apps is very quick and easy. It comes with Kodi, which is quite popular, but not sure how to get it to work, but that's more on the app rather than the box which is what this is about. To check if there was any lag on the screen, I tested out a 4k live stream and it was very smooth, not flickering. So much to work on now, quite happy with this. The box is very small and can be affixed to the back of the TV with a short HDMI cable, supplied, but can be upgraded to one of your choice if required, however the one supplied is just as good.

Not a Lemon but does have some drawbacks.
I bought this as a x265 player on a non smart tv, and for that I can't fault it. Playback is crisp and error free with no pixel clumping, and colour rendition is accurate.Initially I had an odd problem with it cutting off subtitles, but that was more a format or frequency problem with the tv.I used the VLC app initially, but switched to a very basic Kodi viewing platform as its much easier to modify and you set it to boot into directly. It has other viewing platform apps installed but stripped them off to maintain simplicity. If you have a Bluetooth mouse then it will connect ok, but as it only has one USB and no micro SD slot , plugging in a normal wireless mouse will take up the memory expansion slot. The remote is actually OK, not the usual generic one that's usually supplied with the budget kodi box.I does what I want it to, without a problem, although I would have liked to see a micro SD slot.Unfortunate name as Lemon is slang for (never works properly)

DONT JUST DONT
I had very high hopes for this device.I really wanted it to be goodSadly not soIt can't play 4k UHD content without it not having any sound or the picture is just a blank screenTry 3 different video playersBuilt-in worked some timesVLC player didn't work onceJust player didn't work eitherDownload of TV guide just doesn't happen at allThis box should be advertised as a 1080p deviceThe volume is dependent on your TV remote being set to 100% for you to use the actual remote that comes with the device.I de- bloated all the crap apps that's on the device( most dont work ) or says not available in your location. So disappointed with itAnd my advice is to give this a miss as you will be disappointed.Gutted tbh as was hoping for what the box described but it fails miserably.Save your money and buy something with better specs that can actually do the basics in the first place.Avoid!!!

Excellent little streaming box for movies etc
for movies etc as we do not have a smart TV up in our bedroom I was looking for a streaming device so I ordered this one from the Amazon vine testing program. The box itself comes well packaged, almost like a mobile phone box so nothing was damaged upon delivery. In the box you get the streaming box, a nice rubbery usb-c cable , an HDMI cable and the remote control, this remote control does not come with batteries and you will need 2 AAA batteries.Set up is incredibly simple all you do is plug the USB cable into any usb source, connected via HDMI cable to your television and then follow all the onscreen prompts. Make sure you have your Wi-Fi password ready. The setup took me approximately two minutes and I was online streaming YouTube from the supply app.You only get a few apps to start off with but the Google play store is available and all you need to do is sign in and start downloading your favorite streaming apps. Also as a bonus my version was without media player, to my surprise the media player was actually installed and I inserted my USB hard drive in to the device as it has a USB insert, and the supplied player found my files and played them no problem at all whatsoever. The interface although a little bit clunky is actually not too slow and they managed to navigate around all the apps and menus with ease.I did not test 4K but it was definitely streaming in 1080p.Overall if you're looking for a good cheaper streaming stick then this could work for you and I can highly recommend it.
