This book is excellent. I bought for my almost 10 year old and she’s been reading independently and discussing with us every day. The language is extremely affirming, and celebratory of becoming a woman while being educational and breaking down extremely complex experiences. Just a really well designed resource.

Sadly I wish I'd read the reviews first. It is too big and too much information for the younger age group, which is what I was looking for. Maybe good for a parent to read and use to help explain bits but not what I was expecting.

Def wouldn't buy it, I wouldn't recommend, the book is bloody huge and so much overwhelming I wouldn't be able to read it all too much and it's like an inch or 2 thick

Far too advance for 8 and 9 years old , talking about hair removal , inserting tampons , period cups .The size of the book is just too big and too heavy .
