I have been baking sugar cookies professionally for over 5 years. I have just discovered this vanilla bean paste after the one I usually use has been out of stock for a while. I won’t switch back. This has great flavor! My icing might be better than it’s ever been! For the price it’s well worth they buy.

This is a great alternative for pure vanilla bean paste at a fraction of the cost. The taste and smell will bring out the best in all your baking and cooking needs. It comes in a large bottle that barely fit in my cupboard so I just add it to a smaller bottle for ease of use. It is easy to use as an exact exchange of any vanilla in your recipe and provide a great outcome to any product.

This vanilla paste taste like plastic ...it comes in a plastic bottle, mine was bowed out at bottom so wobbled and the taste is gummy plastic.Sorry I bought this. Kim J.

Not very pleased with it, thinner consistency, taste is okay

I'm another former Neilsen-Massey bulk buyer driven here in desperation that that product has literally doubled in price, and I can't justify paying $120+ for vanilla bean paste, no matter how much I love baking. This is definitely not as good quality, but for the price it works just fine. It's been really nice having a big bottle in the kitchen again that I can use liberally instead of sparingly trying to ration out a 4 oz bottle to last months. Definitely recommend purchasing, I will definitely buy again when I run out.

I have had this for a few months. It is definitely different from the Nielsen Massey, but my experience differs from other reviewers. I found the consistency to be gelatinous. Sooooo, not paste-y persay, but not watery. It is less concentrated so I add a bit more than a recipe calls for. I debated on 3 or 4 stars because i don’t know what to make of the smell**. It almost smells like there is a chemical in it...but no one else has mentioned that so I could be off-base and maybe it’s the vanilla. And on the other hand, it was soooo much cheaper and seems to be doing the job.**Update: Shortly after review was written I realized the smell was mold. It was difficult to see until I shone a light inside the container. I was able to contact distributor printed on the label and they offered a replacement.

This is exactly what I had hoped it would be. I had ordered some 4 oz bottles of a major brand before that for 1/2 the price of this 32 oz bottle, so this was a deal when I bought it at about $24.00 last year 2023. I believe it has gone up $6-8.00 in a year, but it is thick and gives my baking a lot of flavour. Thank you.
