Great machine, awful thread in bundle
The machine is absolutely wonderful. I recommend finding YouTube videos to learn how to use it instead of focusing on the book that comes with it.The reason I am not giving five stars is because the bundle is the issue. The thread is really cheap and awful. I almost sent the machine back after playing with it for a week, but when a friend with a similar machine saw the issues I was having, she realized it was the thread. Once I got more expensive thread, it works great. The thread that comes keeps breaking, pulls up thread underneath it so projects don't look good, and it even got to the point where it was ripping through the salvage material on the back. It is not worth using the thread. I would recommend just buying the machine and buying a better polyester embroidery thread. Save your money on the bundle. It's not worth it.

DO NOT BUY
Do NOT purchase this machine here. It made me select a star to post this but it really deserves NO stars. Purchased this machine and used it maybe 5 times before it stopped working. I brought it into a brother specialist and they told me the thread purchased with the machine did not belong in any machines and caused the machine to break. I called Amazon and was told I would get a full refund and then they went back on their word. I will never order from this awful vendor or Amazon again. Horrible customer support and horrible purchase.

Disappointed in thread bonus and price
Machine seems to be good so far. Very disappointed that the price dropped by $50 two days after it shipped. I really could have used that money to purchase better thread, the bonus package threads , break and are very fuzzy and make a mess. Just wish I could have gotten the better price, too far to drive to a ups store to return,and restock charge is huge. . I guess I will gradually purchase real embroidery thread.

Erroneous advertising
All of the items in the advertised Accessory Kit or the 50 spools of thread arrived. They were wadded up inside the brown packing paper.

Love my new machine!
As a seamstress it's so important to have a good machine and I've been needing a new sewing machine for awhile now and saw this Brother machine. The price was right and it came with alot of extra thread and bobbins. The machine is digital and easy to operate. It is quiet and sturdy. While I have not used the embroidery part of this machine, the last machine I had was also a Brother and it embroidered great!
