High Quality

To be honest, this didn't work out for me -- I'm trying to connect it to an LG C4 TV between two laptops and something just doesn't quite work. But i wanted to give it a good review because I've been really impressed by the quality of this, and all other TESmart KVM's i've used. They make top notch stuff where nobody else does.

Didn't work properly or the instructions are pathetic

I've been an engineer and network telecom and IT for 40 years I've hooked up hundreds of KVMs in racks to servers and things. No matter what I did no matter how hard I tried I can only get one monitor working on this dumb smart KVM. I highly recommend trying something else before you go to this I ordered a simple KVM splitter to extend my displays for $60 no grief no BS just connect it to my USBC and off I go

Works fine, but LOUD and Obnoxious

Unless you are a huge fan of loud buzzing noices sitting on the desk right in front of you, this may not be the product for you... and I mean loud! I traded "up" from a TESmart 4k to this 8K model due to the 4k model constantly causing "sticky keys". ("control C"turns into "control ccccccccccccccccccccccccc") this one solved that problem but now I have to figure out a way to mount it on the floor somewhere behind the desk and run much longer cables to everything I need to plug into it.. but then you cant reach the button to switch from PC 1 to PC2.. just garbage.. for this amount of money?!>!>!..

Very good 2 monitor / 2 PC KVM that can do > 120Mhz @ 4k, finally someone has a good solution!

I've owned several TESmart KVM over the years and have always been happy with them, so I was excited to see them come out with a product that would support high refresh rates at 4k.I originally got the HDMI version of this KVM (this one). It worked as advertised and has many nice features I wasn't expecting. For example, you are able to change one screen or the other to the other PC without changing the keyboard/mouse, and any related combination of screen to PC and keyboard/mouse. Easily switch from PC to PC (and associated display) with simple hot key (as are all the functions). Very nice. One warning (which is why I dropped it from 5 stars), it has a fan. The fan is close to you and it is not quiet. Thankfully via hotkey you can change it to low speed or off if you want and you will not hear it. When it is in normal mode, it is VERY noticeable however.Due to my desired setup, I ended up returning the HDMI version of this and getting the Display Port version. I was (happily) surprised to find out the DisplayPort version does NOT have a fan. The KVM must have to do some other heavy lifting for the HDMI setup that requires it where the DisplayPort version does not. HDMI 2.1 is fairly comparable to DisplayPort 1.4, but for computers I believe DisplayPort is better supported and the way to go. So factor this into your purchasing as you see fit. I will leave a similar review (but 5 stars) on the DisplayPort version.

Seamlessly transition from work to play

When I work from home I used to need to unplug my HDMI/display ports from my PC into a separate docking station that would then hook up to my work laptop. That was just part and parcel of having to share my 2 monitors between my work and personal life -- at least that's what I used to tell myself. This device has completely simplified things and eliminated unnecessary plugging and unplugging. All that's needed now is just a touch of a button to switch between Excel spreadsheets and gaming action.Importantly, it's easy to set up (just plug and play out of the box) and I've had no issues with latency/input lag. (Note: I use a 60hz monitor and another 144hz monitor.) Furthermore, one of the niftiest features is being able to customize between your input and output settings. For example, you're able to use the audio input from one PC, while still using the other.

Works as needed

Got it for my gaming nephew and he said this is fantastic and just what he needed.

Fried my equipment

Hooked up to both a work and gaming system. My mouse started having issues pretty quickly but thought it may just be getting old. The next day the mouse and 1 of my monitors would not power on any more. Now I know the thing should not be pumping enough power to fry a monitor but this thing is the only changes made. Possible power fluctuations through the cable... who knows. The monitor was less than a year old Samsung 4K not just a generic pos. I had high hopes for this with the amount of money I spent on it but guess it is time to start hunting for a different one.

Nice features but a big price tag.

This KVM is killer when it comes to features with the triple monitor support and lots of extras like ethernet and audio. The ability to select different screens to display without changing the control PC is nice. The switch is well made and materials seem quality. The keyboard shortcuts work well and I haven't had any issues with it. The only downside is the price tag, but that is expected for a decent brand with so many features.
