WiFi delay with Alexa
Great in Theory, But Wi-Fi Delay Makes It Impractical for Some UsesWith a bit of imagination, you can do some clever things with the COMBOSS Wi-Fi Motion Sensor. I bought it to use with Alexa — the plan was to automatically switch lights on and off as people passed by, especially for landing and stairway lighting. And yes, it does work… but there’s a catch: a noticeable delay. You can come out of a bedroom, start walking downstairs, and only once you're halfway down will the light finally come on. The delay is around 5 to 10 seconds — enough to make it feel like it’s missed the moment entirely. This isn’t a fault with the product necessarily, but more a limitation of relying on Wi-Fi and cloud-based routines. For real-time responsiveness, you’d need a local setup that doesn't depend on Wi-Fi.So while it's great for some automation tasks, it’s not the right choice for things that need instant response.

Good product
Very happy with this motion sensor. Works well with Amazon Alexa routines.

Useless
Don’t bother these aren’t worth it. They just didn’t live up to the hope they could’ve been great and they looked like there would be but the triggers or the sensor all the timing or the connection just something wasn’t correct and it just didn’t work. I ended up replacing them with Tattoo options.

Slow reaction time
Pairs fast, but I thought it will detect me and recall a scene within a second or max 2 seconds, this takes at least 5 seconds, which is about as long as it takes me to walk up the stairs, so I get the lights switching on when I don't need them anymore

They work really well, recommended for use with Alexa controlled devices
Despite their basic look, these work really well, much better than I expected (they're actually a little too sensitive for my needs). When I first set them up they were very laggy on responding to motion with Alexa controlled devices, but after a few hours they seem fine.

Theyre ok.
Item is fab, does exactly what i needed it to do.Would have been 5 stars, but one of the 4 has stopped working, despite battery changes etc. It's not a massive issue, but it's irritating.Anyway, they were easy to set up, haven't lost connection at all, and just work.We have them set up to switch lights on when people walk into a room, and that's what they do.They are small enough to not be particularly noticeable, and have solved a few, not particularly important, problems.
