This is a useful book. I’m a new beekeeper so there was plenty for me now and as a resource for further down the line.

I wanted to learn more about bee keeping and found this book easy to follow and very interesting would recommend it to beginners like me.

I have download this book as I am new to beekeeping and wanted something to help me to understand how to look after bees. I have found the book full of information and facts and how to keep bees is explained in great detail and is easy to understanding and is not complicated.I am attending an 8 week course in February 2024 and I will use this book as a reference document during my course. I would like to thank Michael York for producing a very comprehensive book and I would highly recommend the book to anybody who is thinking of taking up bee keeping.

As an aspiring beekeeper my son has just finished reading this book. He really enjoyed it and has got lots of great information about where to source beekeeping gear, helpful tips on how to treat diseases and pests and general bee husbandry. It is well structured and easy to follow. We’d strongly recommend it to other bee fans of any age.

Education

The book explains in depth everything you need to know to start a beekeeping business. It is an excellent introduction for newcomers.

A really lovely feel to this book, brings the real joy of beekeeping to the forefront. Well recommend and very informative.

It's OK but the pictures are all black and white.. It looks like a 70's book. Hopefully it will still be helpful to my husband who has just had a hive as a present 🎁 🤔....
