Excellent quality. Light weight, colorful, clean up easily and difficult to chip (we did manage to chip a bowl by leaving it in the sink and a heavy (half gallon) jar fell on it out of the dish strainer). I'm very pleased with the overall quality, and they were relatively inexpensive compared to other porcelain dinnerware. Their customer service was awesome (I called about getting a new bowl to replace the chipped one.) I highly recommend!

I love these plates! They are perfectly sized, not too big for my cabinets. They are high quality porcelain. They do not scratch and I haven't chipped any yet. I did drop and break one. I was pleased that it broke into large pieces with no splintering. Even though it makes them a little harder to get into the dishwasher, I like the lip around the edge of the plates. They are retaining their color and their shine. Much nicer than the pictures.

I was very pleased with this set. It is sturdy, but not too heavy for my old hands and the colors are wonderful: neutral but not dull. The porcelain cleans easily, either by hand or in the dishwasher and they are fine in the microwave too! I especially love the soup bowls and pasta plates. A family member has essential tremor, and these are a good weight to assist with his shaking. The one comment I would have is that the rims, which are fantastic for helping to keep your food from sliding off the plate, also make placement in the dishrack a bit more of a challenge. But I can live with it and the beauty of these is worth making the accommodation. I would like to know if the manufacturer has the ability to replace pieces if they break, rather than reordering a full set, should that become an issue. Try them, I think you will love them as much as I do!

I like the product. The colors are true to the picture. The initial and replacement order both had broken large plates. The bowls and smaller plates were undamaged. I was lucky that different plates were damaged allowing me to pull from each set. I would encourage future buyer to carefully check each item for damage. Know that if any item is damaged the set must be returned and a replacement will be sent. Hold the original set until the replacement comes just in case.

I like these dishes. They are pretty and practical but they are not packed extremely well and one of the large plates (the dark blue one) arrived broken. I contacted Sweese customer service with proof of my order and pictures of the broken plate. They said they have absolutely no replacements for this set. I asked if I could wait for one and they said "no". The best they could offer was a refund for $8.72.If I had known this was a discontinued remainder item then I probably would not have ordered it. Other people had reported plates getting broken in transit but they were able to get replacements from Sweese.
