Review
This was very beneficial for me in college because I cooked a lot. I didn’t really eat in the dining hall. It is quite small, but it holds a lot.

A fast hot cooker
This wonderful addition to a streamlined kitchen gets 4 out of 5 stars, but I am still recommend it as it has some great qualities, however there are a few small issues that the manufacturer might want to solve. I cooked multiple meals in this delightful little gadget before writing this as I wanted to get all sides of its use. It heats up fast, even on the low setting, make sure all ingredients are prepped before sliding that On switch. There are two settings the first is hot enough for every need, make sure you are close by with utensils as it cooks at a pace that requires attention. It does have that fun steamer that sits on top, note that the vents are far and few between resulting in the steaming process taking longer. I found if the vegetables are julienned thinly, it goes easier and quicker. Overall, it is great for ramen noodles and simple small meals. It also worked well for rice, with some modifications. Note this electric pot does not have the standard cook-to-warm switch of a rice cooker, stand by with the nifty non-scratch spatula to turn the rice a couple of time while in process, it also needs an additional quarter to one third of the specified amount of water to achieve fluffy and cooked. The lid has a terrific see-through capacity so you can keep an eye on your meal’s progress but beware the three steam hole vents. Also, no submerging in water to wash and never-ever use on a stove burner. Which brings up a couple of issues the manufacturer might want to address. That pot handle is long and easily balances the contents of the pot, however if you are short on storage area it does require some extra space. If you cannot tell from the photos this is a medium full-sized saucepan with the steamer adding additional height. The other thought for the manufacturer would be to add a recipe book. I really longed for go to recipes to fit the size, but yes explore your own creations and rest assured you will have uses for it. Oh, one more thought for the manufacturer how does the plastic rim of the lid hold up near the lined heating elements of the pot, will there be distortion over time?

paint fell out of the pan!
After I cooked ramen once, paint fell out of the pan and got into my food, but I didn't realize it at first and small particles of paint got into my body!!

Somewhat great
The media could not be loaded. The product was easy to use. I ordered some blue crabs off Amazon fresh but the problem is the cord get so stuck in the pot when you try to remove it you also remove the whole piece that’s in the pot. That can create another safety problem, not mention to rock around my food after I cooked it. I think they should consider fixing the problem. Especially if you on the road and want to cook food. I first purchased for staycations with my boyfriend with hotels that don’t have stoves. It’s great because when I first cooked my food with the door closed, a febreeze freshener and my window cracked by the time I woke up I didn’t smell anything. The thing is it still smells up a room, and the cord is a major problem. I would have Been fine with it as long as my cord didn’t stick so hard when I try to remove it the whole piece come apart. Also the bottom part is not as big as you will expect I could fit two small crab clusters in the top steamer with no problem but I still haven’t tried just the bottom by itself. It hears fast but I feel it’s a safety issue.
