It took two goes to stop the leakage
There was a slight leakage from the connecting drainpipe between two water butts. The first application almost fixed it. The second application completed the job.

The best for emergency repairs
I've used a dozen brands of sealant around the house, inside and out. Most have been terrible, totally unfit for purpose. Aquafix, however, is the one I'd recommend for emergency repairs. It hardens quickly, it's not too sticky to work with and it does a great job of keeping out the rain. You can even apply it in the wet and it will do a good job of adhering to the surfaces. Be a bit skeptical of the claim you can apply it under water, however. I tried this for an emergency leak and whilst it did actually keep the water out, it didn't really adhere and I had to remove the sealant a few hours later (easily done, came off on one strip), dry the area out and apply some more.

Still leaks!
Easy to use although the fumes given off horrendous. Used ALL of it to seal a slow leak in the water tank of solar garden feature. The tank was dry before applying and water was only re-introduced once the sealant appeared to have gone off.Net result was no change - still leaks - so complete waste of time and money
