No, it is not automatically set for the next day. Press the side button again to reset the alarm. The bell symbol will appear and be ready for the next day.

Q: What do I need to do to keep the time constantly displayed it comes on for 1 minute then goes off?

Q: Does this alarm clock keep exact, to the second, time?

It doesn't show seconds. It seems to keep good time. My big concern was the brightness and this clock dims perfectly.
