First timer
Does not come with a on and off switch. If you are going to connect to batter terminals you have to add your own terminal connectors. But I figured it out.

Looks Amazing on my 2023 Hawk DLX!
The media could not be loaded. I have these leds installed on a 2023 RPS Hawk DLX 250cc. They work great, were easy to install, the lights are bright, the patterns are nice, the music sync works perfectly, the price was very affordable, package arrived on time and in great condition. I will recommend and I myself, will buy again. Works as described! *Thumbs up*

Good product, but could be better
The media could not be loaded. I looked at a lot of kits before purchasing, and for the money, the 12 light strip package for the $25ish seemed like a decent value. The good:Shipped relatively quickly (actually earlier than Amazon’s estimate)Product seems well madeEverything is sealed, so it should be waterproofHas actual 3M adhesive on the back of the light stripsLights seem very bright, at least in my garageApp is easy to download and useKit even comes with black zip-ties to help organize/secure wiringThree different size light strips means lots of different options for where you mount themThe bad:-The app allows you to set the lights to the music on your phone, but you can only play through the phone, and can’t Bluetooth to an external speaker. Not a feature I’m gonna use anyway, but it might matter to someone else.- There is no physical on/off switch, and has to be done through the app. Not a big deal, but if you lose your phone, or it dies, etc, you have no way to turn them off. LEDs don’t draw much power, so you’ll be good for a while till you can disconnect them, but it is something to keep in mind. The whole unit is pre wired as one piece, and the rest of the bad really focuses on that fact….-You have to plan out your wiring VERY carefully because you can’t disconnect it to reroute wires. You may be stringing the light strip through some pretty awkward places in order to get it where you want, especially if the wiring needs to go through somewhere not easily accessible.- All the wires are the exact same length, which means you will end up with a lot of excess wire where the light is fairly close to the Bluetooth receiver.- You can’t add an extension to the wires if you need a longer run. I needed an additional 8” to get to my front fender, and had to cut and slice in some extra wire. The wiring inside the sheath is like 24g or thinner (and there’s four strands), so if you’re not used to working with very fine wire, this will probably give you fits.- The harness is set up like a tree that branches off from the receiver (good in theory). It split off into two splitters, that in turn each split into six strands for the lights (I think the pics in the listing shows this). The splitters have two different size lights on each, which ideally you want to run in the same direction (one splitter front, and one rear) but it I had to run lights from the same splitter in different directions to put the right sizes where I wanted. This contributes to a big working mess.- Because all the wires are the same length (about 3’) and permanently wired together, you will end up with a big tangle of uneven lengths of wiring in/near your battery compartment that you have to deal with. A bike with a lot of fairing, or storage compartments, will make it easier to deal with. But a naked bike, or a fairly stripped down cruiser like mine, it will become a bit of an issue.- If a light module dies, you can’t just disconnect it and replace it with a new one. Either live with it, or replace the whole setup.- you can’t just disconnect a light in order to remove a fairing, fender, tank, etc.I just finished installing them last night, so I can’t comment on longevity. They do look good, and seem well made. Just be aware that installation will take a lot of careful planning to make sure you get the wiring as clean as possible the first time. A fully faired bike might be a little easier, as you can coil individual wires behind body panels instead of having it all end up in one place. Same with something like an ATV, CanAm, etc.Id also recommend buying a waterproof on/off switch with it (I did). The Bluetooth receiver, by nature, is always drawing SOME power from the battery, so it could potentially drain the battery if you let it sit over winter without a charger. Also allows you to turn the lights off/on if you don’t have access to the app for whatever reason. The other option is to wire it into the headlight or ignition switch so you need to have the key on for them to work.If the kit had individual wires, in a few different lengths, I’d give it 5 stars, but unfortunately it just makes it such a pain to wire, I can only give it 3, which is a shame for the initial quality I see in the lights. For $25 you get what you pay for. I won’t steer anyone away from buying them, but I can’t really recommend them either. If your willing to spend more for ease of installation and future expansion/replacement/maintenance I’d say it would be money well spent.
