Once I noticed my OEM elbow to my face mask was pretty nasty & couldn’t be cleaned, I started looking for a replacement. Came across this two pack (which is nice to have two) and decided to purchase them after checking out the reviews. I did see where a few said one of the two worked for a night then would leak, but so far the one I started using first in the pack connects well and works just like it should. It does have a slightly different feel to it compared to the OEM elbow, but that does not affect the way it works which is what matters. I’ve posted pics of my OEM part vs this new product for comparison. All in all, this is a great replacement piece allowing me to have continued use of my CPAP machine each night and I will be sure to order another pack once I run through the suggested 3 month use of my current order. I tried this replacement as it’s cheaper than ordering through medical supply. Instantly regret that decision. I was confused the first three nights I used this as my water tank would be completely bone dry so much that the smell of plastic being heated up woke me. I didn’t realize the mask leaked air at first. When I put the mask on as I got in bed, my machine starts out with low pressure then gets higher as I sleep. My wife told me it sounds like a lot of air was escaping. Well this morning I woke up because I had to urinate and noticed the sound of air leaking badly. I left my machine on and put my original elbow on (thank god I hadn’t tossed it). I instantly had high pressure and no leaks. Had so much pressure that it was lifting my mask off my face.What a waste of money. Product claimed to have no leaks and fits perfectly. That’s bs. This DOES NOT FIT PROPERLY with my N20. This HAS air leakage.I will be looking for different elbows again. SMH

Works well with no air leaks. Flapper valves function correctly. Hose rotation is less than the original and the connection to the mask is a little finicky. Delivered the next day on a weekend and a great emergency replacement for an original elbow with damaged flapper valves.

Our insurance wanted to charge us 3x the price as Amazon. This elbow works great.

Cheap, but... cheap. They leak 10 times as much air as ResMed's factory ones do. The leak is loud. I tried tying a cloth around the connection but it doesn't help much. The clips wear out and it starts falling off the mask.

Used it to replace the original elbow that was no longer opening and closing correctly. This one works. Easy to replace. Plus you have a spare, if needed later.

This is not a good replacement for the OEM part. It's not as secure as the original, so leaks air and makes more noise as a result. It's better than nothing, but not worth the purchase. I couldn't sleep well when my husband was using this elbow due to the extra air/breathing noise, so we ordered the OEM part to replace this part. I'd suggest doing the same as it's also possible that along with the noise from the part not attaching as securely as the original, he doesn't get the full effect he needs, so I won't reorder this one.
