Perfect trigger
I used it tonight for the first time and it was literally plug and play. I have a Roland Td27kv2 and I recently converted a 16" acoustic bass drum, purely for aesthetics. Anyway, my previous internal trigger let me down at a gig so I thought I'd try this. I literally didn't need to make any adjustments. I just chose the right trigger setting in the module and my bass drum has triggered perfectly all evening. I'm definitely very happy with my purchase 👍

I love this trigger
I love this trigger. I have been having problems with getting a good mic sound from my drum kits and prefer playing an acoustic kit. I already own a Roland TD9 so thought I would experiment with triggering drum sounds instead. Wow! Easy to attach and triggering seems pretty accurate and even has the sensitivity to recognize harder hitting. I have now also bought Roland triggers for my toms and they are just as good.I play in a pub/club band and my sound is now really clean out front through our PA. My bass drum thunders into the chest! I have re-tuned all my drums so they have a similar pitch and sound to the Roland brain (you can just as easy re-tune the sounds in the brain). This is so any sound picked up from any overhead mics I occasionally use at bigger venues doesn't clash. I can now also ditch my cow bell, chimes, blocks etc as these can also be triggered from an extra pad. Virtually any sound I need I can use from here. I've only had these a month or so so can't say if they will stand up to the rigors of pub life but they do seem sturdy enough for now.Just remember you need a sound module device to trigger so these are not stand alone items. I have seen on-line that Roland also sell a very reasonably priced drum module (brain) too. You'll find it if Google a bit.I'm never going back to mics. Triggering is waaaaay better. Would I recommend, hell yes.

Amazing
Used Ddrum for years. After 4 or 5 triggers broke on me, I decided to try Roland. Have thrown all my Ddrum triggers right into the bin, the Roland ones absolutely blow them away.

Just ok.
Not quite what o had thought it would be, triggering was a problem at low hits, so I sent it back.
