I don’t use it every single day, but the Instant Pot has earned its place on my counter. I mainly use it for tough meats like Oxtail, stews, and Roast. Everything I have turned in this pot turned out great in my opinion. What really surprised me is how quiet it is compared to older pressure cookers. Like the old school whistle top models—no loud hissing or steam sounds, which is a nice bonus.The controls are easy to figure out, even if you’re not have don’t know what type of food you are cooking. The labeling and manual are easy to understand. I like that it has a bunch of presets, so I don’t have to guess cooking times.I wouldn’t say I’m a heavy Instant Pot user, but when I do pull it out, it makes cooking faster and easier. Totally worth it if you want to save time in the kitchen without a ton of cleanup.

It is better than I had hoped for. I highly recommend this pressure cooker. This is my first electric pressure cooker and I was highly hesitant. It is larger and takes more storage space; but, WOW I am totally satisfied. Clean up is so easy, we do not hesitate to use it, even just for potatoes.Let me tell you something about this pressure cooker that I did not know before I purchased it. At any time during the cooking process, you can add to the timer. I found out when I was cooking a roast. I decided that I really needed to add ten more minutes. Just for the hell of it, I pressed the time control setting and "Bingo", I just turned the dial to add the ten minutes. I did not feel any limitations in making the changes to the total cooking time.I also really appreciate the design of the interior seal. It is designed to fit any way you put it on (there is no upside down). It is easy to remove and clean after each use. My wife is not afraid to use it. She would not even use my old manual pressure cooker. She was afraid of it. The cool down cycle and quick steam release makes it totally safe to use.

I've never used one before, but when I was thinking how to avoid running my electric oven for an hour two for dinner, especially with warmer summer afternoons, and electric bills, I decided to give it a try. And I use this pot allll the time.

Once we got used to using this pot, it has become something we use often. It takes a little trial and error to figure it out for various foods. Just make sure that the steam release button is in the right position before you start cooking.

Excellent product! I’m really enjoying it so far. I previously had a different model, and this one is noticeably quieter. It’s also larger than my first one, which is a nice upgrade. I especially appreciate the steam release switch—it’s much more convenient than the traditional turn knob.
