This DVD player is bigger but lighter than any of our laptops at home. Super lightweight! We got rid of our standard DVD player and the other portables we have are all the little versions that were perfect for our kids when they were little. My current laptop doesn't have a disc player, which is a bummer because that's how I played workout discs. But this DVD player covers that need beautifully, It holds a charge readily and I love the remote (though it also can power on one TV in our house when I hit play. LOL!). The screen swivels, which is helpful for when I am repositioning on the floor or nearer my weight rack; I can shift the screen versus moving the whole device. The picture quality isn't sharp like our HD TVs, but neither is the price of this DVD player (and, too, I don't need such definition for it's use). The picture quality is adequate to me--and the other pluses make this a bang-for-my-buck purchase.

I've used this about 200 times and it still works (many burn out some how fast oddly) woohoooo! I thought I had a DC 9 plug issue this week and was going to write a bad review but I'm the dork! The dc9 is great! I haven't used it in awhile and thought it wasn't charging cuz no light. When in fact it was completely 100% charged and that's why it wasnt responding with the light ugh. Duh! I'm so sorry for doubting you Yoton. It's plays excellent tonight as always! Great screen! Great sound! And very portable!

This dvd player works great. It has a large screen and decent picture. I just got it today so I can't speak on how long it will last. The only downside is it's not very loud. I recommend using headphones. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

Best buy for the money. It has a big monitor and the picture is great. It is easy to use. Love it!

I bought this dvd player to watch movies on before going to bed. About a month before the warranty went out it stopped working. It would not read discs, or it would just stop after playing a few minutes. I contacted the seller, they gave me things to try to get it working again, but nothing worked. They then offered to send me a new one. Which i really needed. They sent a new one and it arrived faster then they told me it would. They not only handeled it in a timely manner, they were very nice and helpfull. I will be doing business with them again and i recommend everyone do the same. It is a great product from a great company. I would give them ten stars if i could!!

Nice player, large screen, sharp picture. Perfect to keep at camp. This is just what I was looking for.

I was looking for a larger screen to watch DVD movies. YOTON offered a 15.5 inch portable DVD player at a reasonable price. The quality of the screen appears a bit blurry when viewing at a certain angle. The screen does swivel back and forth and up and down, so can adjust to get right angle. The remote control is a bit temperamental and doesn't always work, so need to use controls on DVD player. The description was very clear that this device only plays DVD discs and NOT Blue Rays movies, which may not please all customers. The battery life is pretty long, but also includes cord to plug into electrical outlet as well as adaptor for vehicle. Overall a good purchase for the price and intent I need it for.
