My husband has to take a number of small pills every day and they're hard for him to handle. I've been able to put as many as 5 of his small pills into one of these capsules. Makes it much easier for him to take them without dropping any, and he finds the capsules easy to swallow.

Since I've been buying some herbal supplements in bulk, I wanted to try making my own capsules (as taking straight powder or mixed with water is just gross). I will admit that filling each one by hand is a pain. I basically just scooted the capsule sides through the powder in order to fill them, which got the powder under my nails. I may have to find some kind of machine or even just a small pill spoon to make life even easier. These pills were also the size I was looking for, as they hold close to 500mg. I've been measuring out about a gram, which takes 3 of these capsules to fill by hand. Overall, much easier to take supplements, and I'd buy these again. Oh, one problem I have is that the package isn't resealable. Once you've opened the bag, you've gotta be careful where you store it.

These "snap" into place when you push them together so ingredients don't spill out after. If you don't feel that, then they aren't closed all the way.
