We have two of these installed on the dry side of our kitchen counter. We read that if they are plugged into a GFI it should be safe. They were easy to install. We had to buy a specific size drill bit for the wood countertop. They pop up smoothly. Very solid, not wiggly or wobbly at all. Plugs fit in easily so you don’t have to push too hard like some receptacles. They are really pretty flush to the counter. There is a bit of a rise, but very minimal, not bad for us.

Has worked perfect for us, the only thing we would change is not having to pull up to open. We were kind of expecting a button and it pops up some then you pull up. But it's alright. .it still does the job and doesn't look cheesy.

Good price, exactly what I wanted, time will tail how it holds up, we actually used it in an outdoor kitchen but in a covered area so it’s weather protected. The pop-up function works very smoothly and it was super easy to install. I like the outlets that you push on it and the holder just pops up, some of the ones on Amazon Require you to pull them up and I wanted the automatic pop-up and that is what this is!

We use this as the power source on the kitchen counter top. You need to make sure you have enough space underneath and you have an outlet to plug this unit into. It has to have room for the cylinder to descend into. So you cant place it where the drawers are in cabinetry. So in our case we mounted it in the space behind the dishwasher and placed an outlet inside the sink base to plug it in to. It would love it if this unit has the soft automatic pop up. It is more basic. Just grab it and pull it out. However, the automatic ones are much more expensive. We have used this before a few times.
