AAA Rechargeable Battery, XTAR 1.5V Rechargeable Lithium AAA Battery 1200mWh 1.5V AAA Batteries for Blink Camera (AAA*8 Pack)

Loving these for keeping the kids toys powered. Yes, upfront costs are higher, but in a month the batteries and charger have paid for themselves having 2 kids with all the battery powered toys. Should have picked these up sooner!

Update 12/01/22: Was going to return these.after my initial bad experience with my Silva Ninox 3 300 lumen Headlamp flickering issue. But after trying them in a less demanding Energizer headlamp and a Luxpro LP362 triangle light for 1/2 hour straight, found they work fine. Voltage is higher than a new alkaline.Initially was gonna write a good review since the voltage was very strong in these ones. But after putting them in my headlamp, the light started alternating from bright to dim over and over. Plus it got super hot, enough to burn your fingers after just 30 seconds of use. If I had waited any longer I think it would have caught fire. No problem with long term usage with Eneloops NiMH AAA for months. And no im not a Panasonic shill. I also have a XTAR 18650 charger that seems to work good but it makes me nervous after this incident. Im gonna return both the lithium aaa rechargeable and non rechargeables I just bought. Too FN dangerous for my my likes. Sticking with NiMH for now.

Dunno if it's the batteries or that particular flashlight (not a cheap walmart one). Inserted the batteries (3), lit up the flashlight, and that thing after a minute of use was hot!Switched it off, let it cool down, but of course that heat meant all power went out of these three batteries.Now, the next issue is that i bought an EBL 8-battery charger (handles both AA and AAA lithium batteries) - these batteries will not charge in that charger. The charger works with AA batteries, but when inserting for charging these batteries, the charger does not recognize them.So i think i have one more option - find a AAA lithium charger, and see if these will charge in that charger; otherwise may have to send a nastygram to the manufacturer :-/Am using a couple others in remotes / keyboards, so far no issue there.Update 29-nov-22: bought a second charger plus 4 AAA batteries, different brand. Those 4 batteries will charge in the EBL charger, so I now know that charger is good.Tried these XTAR batteries in this new charger, and... They just don't seem to fit. Just a bit too short? They flip themselves out of the charger, and inserting them to be charged is Art, not Science. They just don't fit securely into the slots.Unsure if i can return these batteries, but definitely steer away from these if this is your first Lithium battery purchase :-(

so far at least 3 of 8 batteries seem to not hold charge long at all. I have a 1.5v charger. I use these in small handheld comms radios that take 3 AAAs. After just 8 hours in standby, not talking and little to no incoming, one battery will be entirely dead. Doesn't even measure on my checker. The other 2 still have 1.5v full charge.Not reliable enough for anything important.

Out of 8 batteries 2 were defective and could not be charged or recovered.

I wanted to like these as on paper, they look great however.... First these are a bit fatter than a normal AAA so you may find that in some devices they are a tight fit and hard to get out, not good. Then in devices that draw a very small amount of current, these don't work at all. I have a few temp/humidity gauges that take a single AAA. Fully charged these do not work. My guess is the gauges draw such low current that the step down circuity in these cannot function. If I put a 100ma load across the battery while in the gauge, it works, take the load out and it does not work.I only bought an 8-pack and they work in a few flashlights I have so I will use them there. I will not be getting any more. Also, they generate a lot of AM radio hash noise. Another reason I am back to NiMH.
