Best containers ever
These are excellant containers. Practical and sturdy. I froze Soup in one and microwave it, then washed it, You would think its still brand new. I wil be buying more from the range. The lid with the seals is brillaint.

They are well made & deep too.
Great microwave containers for heating beans or soup & boiling veg like peas or noodles, pasta etc. They also work well for eating snacks or soup etc. from.Bpa free, a good brand which works well. They click shut properly and have a steam spout on the lid. They don't stain as my previous 'cheap' microwavable container did.

Love these things
I absolutely love these things.Far better than heating soup in a bowl and having to use a cover or plate to stop the splashes and also you don't get the little overdone parts after heating. Also easy to rinse and clean, fits bread for dipping and easy to spoon out your soup.Haven't tried with much else other than beans but don't recommend beans if you have a pan at hand, fine for work days but they don't help cook the beans as well, seem a little off with the texture but fine for a quick snack.Great little storage for taking foods to work. Says don't recommend using red sauces and soups but I've done plenty tomato soups in these and no stains or wear (have the red set) doesn't get hot when taking out the microwave like a bowl would either. With it being leak proof you could take milk in these and a small bag with your cereal too.

The best way ever to heat soup
I'm onto my third of these jugs and wouldn't be without it. Having no messy saucepans to wash is wonderful! I'd have given the overall rating 5 stars but the last two I've bought the vent clip at the top has broken off very quickly despite careful washing, which isn't a problem for me as I don't carry them anywhere, but it could be for others. Also would the manufacturers PLEASE give a WARNING that heating tomato soup or any soup with a lot of tomato in it will not only stain the jug but will interact badly with the plastic as well, leaving roughened brown-coloured patches which no amount of scrubbing will remove thereby making them an ideal breeding ground for germs. I had to throw my first jug out because of this.

Great for what I need
I think some people think that microwave pots and pans can beat the laws of physics when water heats up and starts to bubble. You still have to keep your eye on these in the microwave, just as you would have to do with an open bowl or anything else.I use mine mainly for porridge in the morning, keeping an eye on it throughout so it doesn't bubble over. I used to do this with a bowl and then I sort of needed asbestos hands to pick the bowl up. These handled microwavable cups don't get hot around the handle, so you can lift them up immediately.I've used them for noodles too and for single servings of pasta. A microwavable rice maker or similar device would be best for larger servings of rice and pasta.I usually leave my porridge to stand for a while before eating, and in a regular bowl like I used to use, it would become thick and drier pretty quickly. These cups left sitting for a while after cooking, still with the lid on, even with the steam cap still open, leaves the porridge nice and creamy, it doesn't dry out.I can't comment about taking them outdoors for anything or any durability in an outdoor or mobile sense, as I only use them indoors.

Great product
These systema soup mugs are great value and hard-wearing. We use them on a daily basis for portioning up casseroles, Bolognese, soups and cooking beans in the microwave. They are just the right portion size for a quick meal. Easy to use, easy to wash (dishwasher ok) and have not leaked as yet. Remember to open the vent if re heating in the microwave. Great for storing cooked food such as sausages, chicken etc in the fridge.
