The media could not be loaded. This kit allows you to build your own E-bike with a 250w motor although with a 250w motor the power of the bike will be very limited. It's great for a pedal assist. The grips are simple and the potentiometer inside feels sturdy to handle gripping force. The kit comes with the controller module, the grips and a key. Although the keys are more for show then security as it's not a complex lock it's just a switch so if you could bridge the two wires it would be the same as powering on the bike. The controller is able to handle 24V at 250W, enough for a mid range battery pack and 250w motor, it does warm up a bit but when moving if called by air it should be able to maintain its temperature.

Terrible quality and poorly designed! The throttle doesn't plug in so i hope you can cut wires and solder wires. Zero wiring diagram or lables. The no brake function, no high and low settings. DO NOT waste your money, there are much better units available for the same price.

For the price, it's not the worst set, but unfortunately that's the only thing going for it. There was no wiring diagram or labled cables, so this will require more guesswork than should be needed. The plastic handle around the twist-grip was rather rough and sharp in places, too. This can easily be fixed with a bit of sandpaper or a stanley knife, but isn't something I'd expect from a finished product. There are alternatives that are better reviewed at this pricepoint, so I'd suggest looking around instead of getting this.
