Arguably the best portable speaker I've ever used. I took this with me to the beach, to the park, in my bed as a theatre quality speaker while watching something lying down/trying to fall asleep, and even in the shower. There's been a handful of times where it's even fallen INTO the water soaked (not completely submerged in water) tub/floor while I was showering and still persisted. After a long time of accidental dropping, rolling off of the bed, and getting water in/on it, it's finally begun to fizzle out and die. I thought it was an internal battery lifespan thing so I replaced the battery and immediately tested it to see if it'd work again, but no it's internal/the motherboard. Honestly for how much light abuse I've put this little remarkable speaker through, I'm genuinely and pleasantly surprised that it's lasted so long. I'm absolutely going to purchase it again.I'm a music producer so I'm a stickler for audio clarity. It doesn't feel bass boosted to hell and back or overly bright. It's very even tone-wise, and it can get pretty loud for parties or outdoor settings, but not SUPER LOUD like a big box speaker could. Obviously it doesn't have a giant subwoofer so the frequency range is 76hz - 18khz, which is still pretty good because your kick drums will still be fine and resonant harmonics from saturated subs/808s will still be audible.2 years of usage and it gave out. The connection is great too. I can be connected to my phone from a different room and still hear it play without any hiccups or disconnects.Honestly, you get what you pay for. If you wanna gamble with a cheaper option that could potentially die on you within a year or less, you can, but if you want to spend the little extra dough on something you know you'll get use out of on a regular basis don't cut corners and get this little guy.

I bought this JBL speaker because I thought my shower concerts deserved better acoustics — and boy, was I right. Now my neighbors get to enjoy my off-key renditions of 2000s pop hits whether they want to or not. The bass hits so hard I swear my cat has started breakdancing.Battery life? I swear this thing runs longer than my motivation at the gym. I charged it once, three weeks ago, and it’s still blasting my “Guilty Pleasures” playlist like it’s the Super Bowl halftime show.It’s also waterproof — because JBL knows I will drop it in the bathtub eventually. They know me better than my own family.In short, if you want to annoy your neighbors, impress your friends, and convince yourself you’re a world-class DJ while folding laundry — this little speaker is your new best friend.Highly recommend. Just don’t blame me when you wake up the whole house at 2 a.m. because you “accidentally” hit play on your hype playlist.

I use outdoor speaker at my pool daily when swimming. My Bose lost its Bluetooth after 3 months, the Sony quit charging after one season. I now have this JBL Flip 6 and totally out does the other two in sound quality and clarity. There’s no booming bass but you can hear the bass clearly in every song as it equals out with the rest of the mix as does the rest of the music. Big plus with the associated JBL app having an equalizer to use with the Flip6 which also shows the current battery charge. Both the Sony and Bose told me the battery power when turning it on but the Flip 6 does not which is its only comparing downfall. I will update any problems that may arise from the Flip 6. But currently this is a great speaker and I love it.

I was surprised how good this little speaker sounded. I had purchased the JBL Xtreme 4 speaker but after downloading the app and adjusting the EQ the way I liked it and putting it in several different places trying to get that BIG sound everybody talked about it just wasn’t worth the high price so I returned it. So I took a chance on the JBL Flip6 and to be honest I was pleasantly surprised. Good bass and very clear mid and highs. As far as price per sound quality goes, the Flip6 is a winner. And I saved enough money compared to the Xtreme4 to easily buy another Flip6 to pair for stereo sound.

After owing over a year this is my opinion. This awesome speaker is the best I’ve ever owned in this type. The sound is amazing even by the pool. The thing is waterproof solid. I’ve had it inside the pool several times going 6 feet down and no problem. The only thing that could improve slightly is battery life. I don’t get the 12 hours they claim. It’s more like 9-10. A little expensive for $100. I gave $85 on sale. Of course not the sound of larger speakers but it devours others in this size.

The first thing buyers should know is that this speaker is Blue tooth only. There is no Aux port for wired connecting.That option should be standard on these speakers for people who may not have blue tooth devices. Otherwise, these speakers are fantastic. The build quality seems excellent as well. They just sound great. Excellent base and crisp, clear audio.

I am truly blown-away by the bass and overall sound quality. One cannot appreciate a written review of a sound emitting device without hearing it. Ill sum it up: Remember the first time you used *actual* headphones. Real ones, like Sony or the German ones? You could suddenly hear everything? Its like that. I am completely blown away by this tiny speaker. Amazing tech.

I've been a fan of JBL speakers for over 10yrs. I've had the Flip5 over 5yrs, I really like it but the battery is finally not charging so well. It still works if plugged in. So I decided to get the Flip6 and it's a real good improvement. USB-C, better sound, great bass! I expect it to last many years. I'm very happy with it.
