not used yet but sturdy item, tried on a door at home and was very difficult to remove. Did what we santed and stopped door being opened form outside

doesn't fit any door
I bought this for a trip to portugal and i tested it on a couple doors at home, and it didn't fit any door in my house. I read the manual given on amazon and the manual it came with thinking i was at fault, i even gave my mom and friend a go of it, and yeah it didn't fit on any door in the house. But I still took it on holiday with me, still didn't fit. I asked amazon for a refund and they issued the refund on the 2nd of december.

It didn't work for me.
It didn't work in any of the hotels I went to stay in the eastern Europe. Giving two stars with a benefit of doubt that may be I was doing it wrong although I watched some videos and followed the instructions.In the end, I bought an alarmed door stoppers/jammers.

Drunk man could not kick door in
Was in a nice hotel. Raging bull (drunk football fan) outside in corridor started kicking at door repeatedly in a rage. This lock was in place and it stopped him kicking the door down. Security arrived, lock metal panel was slightly (slightly) bent, but it was easily straightened. Potentially, this lock stopped me becoming a headline. I will ALWAYS use this lock when I'm away from home.
