iSpring RCC7AK-UV, NSF Certified, 7-Stage Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System with Alkaline Remineralization and UV Filter, Patented Top-Mounted Faucet Design for Easy Installation

Purchased this 7 stage (iSpring RCC7AK-UV)I purchased the iSpring RCC7AK-UV from amazon on 11/28/2024. I installed it January 4, 2025. It was a fast, and easy installation with little parts needed to purchase to fit my pluming. I wanted it to go to my faucet I use for my washing machine, so I need a faucet pass thru adaptor.I first turned it on and let it fill the tank, drained it and did it 3 more times. I notice it took 4 hours to fill the tank so I looked it up online and it said that was normal. I then filled up a 3 quart container from the tap and put a 5 gallon bucket that the waste water fed into. It turned out it over flowed the 5 gallon bucket with a 3 quart use. I did more research and it told me that it may be my water pressure needed to be above 40 to 45 PSI. I installed a pressure gauge and it told me my pressure was at 42 PSI. I then bought an "Express Water booster pump". I have it set for 75 PSI, but I am still wasting 4 1/2 gallons.The 2nd big problem is the taste, my daughter says it tasted like Metal, like someone add a flavor to it. I tested the water and it is coming in at 7 TDS (new tester just bought.) I just drained out the tank again and I still get the taste in the water. Water that is not attached to the RO system has no flavor.2 Problems1) water waste2) water taste.I live on Long Island NY using city water not well water.I opened a ticket with iSpring by email. I got a call back from John in a few days and right away new my first problem was the city water uses an Ozone to disinfect the water, it will react with the UV and create some strange smell or tastes. I unplugged the UV filter and open the faucet and let it run for 30 seconds and the taste is gone.The other problem was the pressure pushing the water through the Reverse Osmosis (RO)Membrane needed to be higher for less waste water. The pump I bought did working right.Taking with John from Ispring he was able to quickly offer a solution where ispring would ship me a whole new head assembly, including the booster pump and pressure switches already built in to boost our water pressure. This defiantly improved my water waste problem and I am up and running2 Problems1) water waste2) water taste.I live on Long Island NY using city water not well water.

This is exactly what I was looking for! The best combination of the price and quality and efficiency (if you buy a permeate pump separately and instal it, it's a piece of cake). I researched a lot about water filtering. Also got a big quotes from few companies. But then found iSpring and its filters. I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! I first ordered another version without UV, had a small problem with a valve, but Julius from support was there for me right away and sent a spare part. I then realized I wanted a version with UV, so I returned that one and ordered this. I installed it following the manual (which was pretty straightforward) and it worked right away. My efficiency is currently 1:3, but I did not yet install the permeate pump. In theory it should bring it close to 1:1. I will try to update this review when I do.The only thing I wish iSpring had differently - is waste water connection. I did not want to drill my pipes, because it would be hard to maintain and clean them later. So I used a separately ordered Drain Line Adapter with 1/4-inch quick connect fitting and connected it to dishwasher drain. Works like a charm!But overall I am VERY satisfied with this product. My TDS is showing 30-40, while tap water is 200. And a huge thanks to the iSpring support - they're amazing! Julius answered every single one of my multiple curiosity questions and helped with everything I had to ask. Looking forward to many years of enjoying this product!

Fantastic customer service- Julius was superb! A local handyman installed the system and it had a leak at the faucet. I contacted the company and they immediately shipped a new faucet. It arrived quickly. My nephew installed it tonight and he suspects the handyman installed from the top. He installed from below, had me put the lever where I wanted then tightened it up. No leak, works perfect and has a decent stream of water! Yay!

After researching, I decided to purchase this RO H20 System. This is a great system that can save you time and money. When the system came in, the faucet was leaking. Julius was able to help me out and got me a new part in 3 days. Now, the system is running good with no leaks. Once the tank is full, the flow rate is 0.5 pgm.

I’m very impressed by the product and sales support. I purchased the iSpring RCC7AK-UV RO water filtration system. The installation was very easy. However, the faucet was leaking a little. I contacted the customer services. Sean was very helpful. He not only sent me a replacement faucet promptly but also followed up and checked with me if everything is working well. You don’t find this kind of above and beyond sales support else where.
