Working well so far
It's only been installed for a couple of weeks but seems to be working well. It replaces a plastic flap that was hinged on one side and always banged noisily when there were high winds outside. This one has passed that test and seems to have reduced the backdrafts we were getting.

Needs a good fan to work
My extractor does not produce enough pressure to open the flaps.I managed to bend the spring enough to get the flaps to open.Pity as it is well made.

Delivered on time but badly damaged .
Package arrived on time but very badly damaged. Flaps where both bent, springs not engaged due to damage and no sealing at all.Flaps could not move freely , item was unusable in its brand new damaged state.

Not really suitable for extractor fans
Will work if you're putting it between two pipes, but if you're fitting this within one pipe like you would with most extractor fans in bathrooms etc then it won't fit into your pipe. I had to cut the excess little metal spikes off which wasn't easy. Other options on Amazon don't have these and I bought these beforen and they worked much better.

Sturdy , better than plastic ones
As in the title, made of metal, so was easy to fit as no danger of breaking when fitting. Also has soft ring inside that will stop the tapping noise when is windy
