Exceeds expectations
I love this. I made my first tub of ice cream, lemon to be exact, and it turned out well. Only thing that would be nice is if the container came with a cover, but put the ice cream in a different container and threw it in the freezer.

Smiles on the kids faces.
I ordered the ice cream maker for my friends grand kids. The smile on their faces was a Kodak moment. Thank you Amazon.

Don’t waste your money!
This freezer is very disappointing! I have tried 4 different recipes, two have been my favorite for years and two were in the booklet that came with the machine, and none of them have turned out well due to the inability of the machine to freeze properly. Each time I allowed the container to stay in the freezer a minimum of 12 hours, but the mixture remained very liquid and soft, even after the maximum 40 minutes of churning. All 4 recipes eventually froze after placing in my freezer, but were not creamy like the ice cream I make in my old school churn. Also, the container is hard to remove from the maker once the churning cycle is finished, and I have difficulty removing the beater from the motor so that it can be cleaned. I do not recommend purchasing this machine - I’m going back to my messy, old-fashioned, ice and rock salt machine.

Works really well.
Way better than I anticipated. Makes making ice cream easy. The hardest part for me is remembering to put the bowl in the freezer the night before.

Yes, finally!
Ok y'all! I have been making homemade ice cream for years. Then I bought an ice cream machine that seems to be popular. It worked ok until it didn't. I called the company's customer service which ended up being a colossal waste of $50. I ended up tossing the the thing in the garbage. This time I tried this machine. It simple, digital, lightweight, and easy to store. LET ME SAY 1ST HOW QUIET THIS MACHINE IS! That was my biggest complaint about my previous machine. It's going right now and I can't hear it in the other room, unlike my other one. It's curning well and is not radiating a lot of heat. The manual is easy, straightforward. It also contains a handful of recipes. I am making a recipe not in the manual and it is looking great! I feel this ice cream maker was one of my best buys of the year!
