Fundamentals of Pharmacology: For Nursing and Healthcare Students

I bought this book mistakenly as I wanted a pharmacology book for my studies but it wasn’t the book I wanted. Having a Quick Look through the book, it’s very detailed and thorough and I’m sure this book would be suitable and helpful for anyone studying pharmacology In healthcare. It was super easy and straightforward to return.

I’ve been overwhelmed with beginning to understand medications for my nursing studies. This book however, is brilliant! As long as you have your A&P knowledge the information just makes sense. It gives you information on the main drug classes and some of the drugs within the class which has made studying so much easier. Literally from reading the first few chapters I was already applying the knowledge the next day in practice on placement by understanding medicines better. I would definitely recommend buying this book as it gives great foundation knowledge for you to research specifics further later on if you wanted to - not that you’d really need to though.

Absolute godsend for my pharmacology exam as part of my non-medical prescribing course!! Easily broken down into chapters and easy to read - breaks down the big words into more understandable things too!
