EVGA700 GD, 80+ GOLD 700W, 5 Year Warranty, Power Supply 100-GD-0700-V1

Lo compré con envío a Chile y llegó 5 días antes de lo esperado.Compré la versión de 700w 80+ GOLD, la fuente en la descripción aparece que es TOTALMENTE MODULAR, pero no lo es, tampoco es semimodular (así que ten cuidado al comprarla), por esa razón le doy 4 estrellas.De momento todo espectacular, no hace ni un ruedo extraño (llevo 2 días usandola).Como no es modular ni semi, es incómodo el tema de la gestión de cables, los cables son bastante gruesos y por una parte son más seguros, pero por otra parte es una desventaja por su tamaño, así que ten cuidado con el tamaño del gabinete que compres por mucho que sea ATX.Es bastante lindo y 0 problemas con el empaque, ligeramente se nota que topó con algo en una de las puntas de la caja pero tampoco es para tanto.Otra cosa mala es que WSP express me pidió una "comisión" por el servicio de entrega a domicilio (me lo cobró el tipo que lo vino a entregar), me molestó bastante para todo lo que pagué con derechos de aduana Y ENVÍO INCLUIDO, espero que Amazon les haga llegar un reclamo y que anden supervisando a la gente que entrega, ya que la segunda vez que vinieron fue otra persona que no me hizo ni un drama y no me cobró esa "comisión". Más allá de eso, Amazon fue más confiable y rápido que los courier chilenos.En caso de tener problemas con el producto, editaré y comentaré cómo va la situación.

There seems to be an annoying paint smell off the bat that was kind of ignorable except I'm not sure but while I had my headset on I could've sworn I heard some kind of pop noise but im not certain if it was just something falling or something in my computer. However the strong paint smell has largely diminished except for a slight odor. Other then that it seems to be working fine thus far.The psu itself seems to be quite cool running and it definitely gives enough power for my old unstable and slightly downclocked gtx 660 ti(130w max draw unless overclocked then up to 150w power limit.(dual 6 pin gpu)The cpu pins 4+4 do not have a clip to hold them together and as usual the 24pin atx which is 20+4 does not have a sufficient clip either making them trickier to install in pre-built systems.

I grabbed the 700w GD model since it was the same price listed as the 600w GD model. Installation was a breeze!! all cables are wrapped and labeled at the connectors making install super easy even if you have a limited skill set. With EVGA standing behind me for their warranty period (5 years on this model) makes me feel even better. Seems well built, is super quiet (my build currently uses around 495 watts) and the gold rating on this model puts me in its optimum efficiency range on its power curve! picked up an EVGA graphics card earlier this year and was impressed enough to try their PSU. Took me around 40 minutes to remove old PSU and install this one (and I'm no expert, just a home and gaming enthusiast). The only issue I've run into was what to do with all the extra cables.... Just more room to expand I guess!!!

I got this to upgrade with my gaming pc that had an i7 9700f, RTX 2070 Super, 16gb ram, 500 watt power supply, so I upgraded to 700 watt. In Fortnite I had around 350 fps in an empty map with Performance mode, High Textures, Epic View Distance. When I upgraded, I got 500-600+ fps. So this is super good for the price.
