Taste is good- and since this is considered a nonrefundable/ replaceable item I’m leaving a one star bc all of the cookies I have opened thus far are a mess of crumbs. It’s as if the box was shaken so hard that the cookies are all broken.

These cookies have quickly become one of my favorites to keep in the house. I first tried one thanks to a client, and I’ve been purchasing them ever since. They have a light, delicate flavor with the perfect shortbread texture that melts in your mouth. The filling is just right—not overly sweet—which I really appreciate.As someone with lupus, HAE (swelling/allergic) and many allergies and sensitivities, it’s rare for me to find baked treats that I can safely enjoy, but these cookies have been a go-to indulgence for me. Ordering them for the holidays was a must, even though the price was higher than usual. I understand the holiday demand, but at nearly $30 for two boxes, I was disappointed by the packaging.One box arrived with all the cookies crumbled and broken, making them difficult to eat since they spilled out of the packaging upon opening. The second box fared slightly better, with only a few cookies broken. Both boxes were shipped together in a single polymailer, which likely contributed to the damage.While I still love these cookies and will continue to enjoy them, I hope that better care is taken with packaging in the future, especially at this price point (100%-200% higher). The quality of the cookies deserves packaging that ensures they arrive intact.

A friend shared this cookie with me a few months back and I really liked the flavor and texture. I'm not a big fan of dates as a rule, but the filling in these is very smooth and not too sugary, sticky sweet. The cookie part is like a soft shortbread and just adds to the eating experience. The cookies arrived in good condition and were not all broken up during shipping. Will order again and would recommend.

These are cookies are delightful! Mild and subtle flavor and not overly sweet. I recommend these to anyone who likes a date cookie of any kind.

Came pretty crushed up and does not taste very well at all.
