Q: Are there any differences in flavors/texture of the golden oolong flavor between "ito en tea" and the "tea's tea" versions?

Yes, The Itoen Teas are a little stronger ,created for the Asian palate. American prefer a softer lighter flavor profile. My personla favorite is the rich dark Green that says BOLD on it .slightly bitter. However, the Oolong jasmine has rich profile too without the bitterness.

Q: Does this tea have citric acid as the preserver? Most processed teas in America have citric acid which adds a bitter taste.

I buy the tea for my son. I looked on the ingredients label and it says "ascorbic acid" (which is Vit C). Not sure if that is the same or not. Hope this helps.

Wonderful tea, but pricey

Great tea, one of the best I've tasted, but I was only able to try it because it was on sale. It's too pricey otherwise. I wish American manufacturers would make a competitive product and sell it for a decent price. I'm not aware of any. If you can afford it, this is a great choice.

Oolong, how I love thee

Tasty, but not cheap. I am a fan of their regular green tea version but a huge fan of oolong, so I gave it a try and glad I did. It is quite good. This is my grab and go option for early mornings and golfing. if you're planning to drink several a day, you might consider brewing your own, but I have no complaints.

Good benefits - a little bitter

I stopped purchasing when I bought the teabags. Like the teabags better. I drink it hot now instead of cold. Oolong tea is supposed to be good for you - does contain caffeine.
