Great Replacement Part
My old solenoid wore out so the four-wheel-drive was kicking on when I was driving in my 2005 F150. Took less than five minutes to replace and fix the issue. It’s been on for a couple thousand miles now and no troubles

2012 Ford F150 Perfect Fit
If you have 4wd problems with your F150 this solenoid should be the first thing you check. Unlike other 4wd systems, the Ford has "normally vacuum" mode to put the front end free-wheeling (other vehicles use vacuum to pull up the actuators to engage 4wd ... 2012 Ford F150s are opposite of that). This solenoid has two vacuum line connections. To test, start your truck ... pull off both vacuum lines (noting which one goes where). One of the vacuum lines should have vacuum on it while your vehicle is running. If it doesn't, you have a vacuum problem. Look upstream of the vacuum line for your failure. However, if you do have vacuum on one of the lines, plug that one back into the solenoid. Test the other port of the solenoid by putting your finger across it. If the truck is in 2wd then there should be vacuum on that second port. If you switch the dash switch to 4wd, the vacuum should go away on the second port. If your current solenoid isn't behaving as described above, this solenoid should fix your problem. If it doesn't, then you probably have an electrical problem. If your solenoid tests good but you don't have 4wd, then the next thing to look at is vacuum actuators located on the hubs. That fix is far more involved.BTW ... this part install requires no tools whatsoever and literally takes under a minute. Pull the two lines off ... unsnap the solenoid ... install the new solenoid ... reinstall the two vacuum lines ... boom ... you're done.

Easy install for common Ford fix
This is about as easy as it gets to fix a problem that sounds way worse than it actually is.My axle was making a grinding noise that sounded like the gears in the axle were definitely shearing off. Took it to Ford and they diagnosed it to be a faulty IWE Solenoid and check valve. Cost to repair = $ 815!! I try and do all maintenance on my vehicles that I can but felt like this one was out of my qualifications. Upon dwelling about paying this insane amount of money I started doing my research with forums and videos, it was determined that this seemed like a too easy to be true fix. So I took a chance and ordered the valve and Solenoid. Once it arrived, it literally took me less than 5 minutes to replace. 1 electrical connector and 2 vacuum hoses later, I jumped in and test drove….problem solved!!! It actually makes me angry that dealerships try and take advantage of people for simple repairs. Do your research before committing to absurd dealer quotes. $ 815 diagnosis and repair = $ 189 all in with buying parts online and paying the Ford dealership for the 1 hour they charged.

Fixed wonky ESOF on my 2019 F250
Super duper easy to install (it's clipped to an overflow tank on the driver's side close to the firewall in the engine bay). This quite literally took about 30 seconds to install in the dark.I was having trouble with my ESOF front hubs locking when going from 2H to 4H. The truck would show on the screen that the shift was happening, but the front hubs wouldn't lock. Easy enough to flip the hubs manually from "auto" to "lock", but that's not very convenient (and potentially unsafe) when road conditions are changing between wet and snowpacked. Now I don't have to jump out of the truck to flip the hubs or drive around with locked hubs all the time.

Fit for 2012 F150 5.0
Perfect fit for my 2012 F150 5.0. Getting the hoses off the old one was the hardest part (without ruining the lines) and even that only took a couple minutes. Everything slid right into place during the install.

Perfect fix for f150
Fixed the IWE issue right away. Low speed grinding went away instantly after installing. Replaced the check valve and hose as well, solenoid was the issue.
