Love this for my house. I bought extra key cards off amazon for the family so each kid could have one on their backpack or carry it with them when they go with friends. Super easy to install and app on phone is little funky at first. Finger print doesnt like to work all the time but the key cards work everytime. Sometimes it takes awhile for the door to lock. nice size for door lock

This was easy to install, easy to set up, and is a sleek addition to my homes aesthetic. I have everyone set up in their fingerprint and know who comes and goes and when. I love being able to let non family members in when they arrive early, or stop by to drop things off. I also have it set to auto lock so I never worry about the kids forgetting to lock the door behind them.

This keypad is convenient for our housecleaner and when we go out of town and have someone housesit. We can easily create custom codes just for them. We have had trouble with the finger print entry. It rarely works on the first try and then it times you out if there are too many attempts. The app also doesn’t update to show the correct battery life. Overall, we are happy with this purchase, though.

I wanted to add a note that the company reached out to me within a few days of writing this review and attempted to offer support. I really appreciate great customer support and feel that it is necessary to disclose the attempt.I bought two of these - one with the gateway and one without as I read that you can pair multiple locks with one gateway. This technically true. Both of my locks are paired to my gateway.However, they connect to the gateway via a very weak Bluetooth signal which is then transmitted over the WiFi network. The issue is that your doors have to be pretty close together to be able to use both with the gateway.My doors are maybe 40 feet apart and in line-of-sight, with no obstructions between them. I have my gateway directly between the two, also in LoS, and I’m getting a response from the locks maybe 50% of the time.My intention was to setup the locks to respond to a routine to automatically lock them at night and during the day when my daughter comes home from school and is alone at our house. Upon testing the routine, even after introducing a delay between the locks being locked, the results were u reliable to say the least.I’ve attached some pictures to show my setup. This setup isn’t an option for a permanent placement. Ideally, I would be able to tuck the gateway in my communication closet and not have to see this device dangling from an outlet in my hallway.As for a less automated deployment of the device, I’ll say that it was quite easy to physically install. When using the app and within Bluetooth range, it seems to work very well.Unfortunately, I’ll be returning these locks and buying a more reliable brand.

One of my recent clients required an electronic locking system with remote access, monitoring, keypad entry and a standard physical key solution. Based on so many favorable reviews I decided to give Smonet a try. I was quite impressed with the packaging, detailed pictorial instructions, and mounting hardware provided. After installing the Smart Lock in place of an old mechanical deadbolt, I had a number of questions while I waited for the gateway to arrive. I reached out to the manufacturer through their contact us link. Within 24 hours one of their tech support agents, Helen, reached out to me through WhatsApp. She introduced herself and offer to answer any of my questions. From our text exchange she took the time to walk me through the process of establishing a passcode, and explain various options. Awaiting the gateway and additional ecards I asked how one links them up to the Smart Lock. Helen took the time to demonstrate each function by creating a short video of her walking through it on her own smartphone and then sending it to me through WhatsApp. The printed instructions are very good but the short videos with live demonstration were extremely helpful. I have now successfully incorporated the gateway so they customer can monitor each entry remotely. Also programmed five e-cards for the staff each under their respective names. The app is well designed and easy to follow. And the Smart Lock confirms each successful addition with voice response. I am thoroughly impressed with the product design and it's many features to the point that I will install a complete Y1 system in my own house so I can be more proficient on it with future clients. I am most impressed with the timely, courteous, and extensive customer support I have received from Helen overseas. To me, timely customer tactical support is most important with product quality, design, and cost a close second. I will highly recommend this product line to all my current and future clients. I have 3 of these locks!!! It took me 10mins to install super easy and I have bought one for my mom as well for Christmas! Love the fact that it has the different options for the lock/unlock with thumb print, codes, the fob, or even using the phone. Even has the option for you to set up a code for someone that’s coming over to feed animals while your away then you can go in and delete the code afterwards. It also notifies you who is unlocking the door if your have the thumb print set up or a person has its own code! I highly recommend this lock!

Totally love this product had nothing but good luck with it. To the point where I buy them for people who get a new home all the time. It's great gift of the great price point and it does really good job. I can unlock my front door in the cold and rain from inside my car 5 minutes before I arrive there so now I'm not fiddling at the door with the buttons and the codes and the keys and the whatever. I just make Google unlock the door before I get there.If I'm having a temporary house guest or somebody I trust is coming to work in my home I create a code for them or I give them a little key fob and I don't have to worry about them getting in and out. Also my wife doesn't lock herself out anymore! Double highly recommended
