Once opened the bottle lasts the expiry date. Which is always at least a year plus

Q: How do you use it on zebra finches?

Scaly Face/Air Sac Mite: Apply 1 drop to birds under 30g (1oz) body weight and 2 drops to birds 30-100g (1-4oz). Place drops on the skin of the thigh. Treat all birds in the aviary. For best results ensure re-treatment is carried out 3 to 4 times per year.

Q: canyou sray on bids when they are in the nest whith chicks

I don't think you can. The dose is important and it depends on the weight of the bird. I use it on finches and one drop supposed to be rubbed on the thigh. On my experience 2 drops wouldn't kill a bird, however if you are spraying and covering in it even chicks, you are risking to kill them
