I have several pair of Jean cargo shorts That I wear in the summer. They are really comfortable and quality is top match. The one thing that burns me is instead of steel button they use a plastic sewn on button overtime, loosens and falls off. These steel buttons are perfect replacement and only took a couple of minutes to install. You just poke a hole in the material and push the backing plate through. Attach the the button and tighten the screw.The price was reasonable. It’s a simple things in life I appreciate. 😀

Many suspenders that tend to be a bit dressier tend to demand buttons to be able to properly secure the suspenders to the slacks or pants. The problem is that many slacks or jeans do not have suspender buttons. That is why this is an almost perfect solution.It is a relatively simple task of merely poking a very tiny hole through the fabric, then affixing the button, and screwing the lack onto the button with the screws that are on it. This is a masterful and simple solution. Instead of scrambling around to try to find someone to sew a suspender button on, one is able to utilize this incredibly simple solution. I love this idea, and I cannot recommend it more highly! A most definite simplification of a potential challenge. Highly recommend!

These are easy to put on an remove. They don't come off during normal wear, but they will come off in the washing machine. I like that they don't look brand new because I mainly use these on thrifted pants. I think they're a good value for the price.

I used these on 2 pair of raw denim button front jeans. These jeans don’t have Lycra so no give and the waist band can get a snug after a meal. Using a small stainless washer under the front helps keep the neck of the button clear and makes buttoning easier. A leather punch set to smallest size is an easy way to ouch a hole. The hole must not be any larger than necessary in order to avoid pull through. Thread lock or household cement helps to. Locktite on the screw threads should keep from coming apart in wash.

I paid a tailor who did a great job to so on replacement buttons after a few months, the buttons came off. I like the Levi’s style button shown here. Please note that this is not a riveted button. This screws in the Phillips screwdriver that came with the set is not gonna make any holes in tough fabric. I used a woodworking awl. A Leatherman tool or similar is needed. Be careful not to make the whole too big go little by little until you get it the right size. My only question is will this come apart in the washer or dryer damaging my machine machines? I am considering putting a little bit of Loctite on the threads and screwing it together

The button on my favorite pair of Jeans popped out, but then I found these on Amazon. I came really fast and I was able to put a small hole next to the existing one and voila, it was fixed. Perfect for fixing your jeans!
