Bought a pair of these along with a pair of TP-Link's less expensive transceivers. Plugged everything together and -POOPH! - instant connection. So easy even you know who could do it. Absolutely plug and play with a rock steady gigabyte throughput for what I think to be a very affordable price. You don't have to be an IT genius to get a high speed long distance data line to where you need it

Have bought about a dozen of these over the last year. They work great and are a really good deal. Excellent for preventing lightning propagation! No connectivity issues. 1.25g sfp modules work fine in it.

These are working great. Used one to turn ethernet to multimode fiber optic and then the other to switch it back to ethernet. As you may be able to tell I don't know anything about fiber optic but it worked great to get internet in my shop. My only complaint is they don't come with the connectors needed for the fiber optic, so you will have to purchase those separately

Plug and play! Worked perfectly for the fiber I ran to my garage. I put this on both ends to hook my Ethernet from the router and modem

I use these for optical isolation of devices that aren’t hooked to a surge protector or could be otherwise impacted by a power surge. For my use they work great. I’ve had these things for years and they work just as well now as they did new.

Works well to get signal 1'000ft from the source. These units are susceptible to lighting strikes, so be sure to use a surge protector.
