Stick with what works
We had these locks on our doors for years then decided to try electronic swipe style locks from another manufacturer. They were OK at first and then started to become problematic. So we change back to the Simplex locks as the others died. Big mistake to change them in the first place. Should have stuck with these the whole time. They are reliable, sturdy and do the job that we need them to do.

This will last a long time and no batteries
The only thing that i don't like is programming it. If you don't do this every day its a big deal to program ,but I did it, so if you don't mind racking your brain its a great lock set.I would use a lock company and let them worry about programming it, if you don't have time for this.

Good lock however...
This is my third lock and they all had small issues but nothing major enough to return, probably why they are always on sale. The customer service support was very rude for the first lock so i found advice else where for the second and third lock.
