We moved into an apartment that had a pee smell in the bathroom, cleaned the seals of the toilet, hose, took the seat off and cleaned it- still pee smell. I'm guessing some kid had peed all over the floor and it's load bearing urine at this point. !!!But this thing fixed it! This has cleaned that smell finally!!! It's very easy to plug in and doesn't make much noise.

I have extreme mold sensitivity. I chose a rental house that I started to react to after being there more days. It was so moldy and smelled like mold. I got a bunch of these and put one in almost every room. After a day there was so much less mold. The mold spores were getting neutralized by the purifier.It has a slight clean smell, and over time I removed most of the purifiers, but it didn't seem like formaldehyde to me and I didn't feel bad from the smell the purifier made, and I'm pretty sensitive to chemicals.These are very effective for the price. It usually takes like a $300 HEPA air purifier to do as much as these purifiers in reducing mold.I later also got an AirDoctor for our bedroom, but these were the main purifiers I had throughout the house.

It really works well. Put it in the bathroom to replace those scented devices. No need for any of those any longer. We are both impressed. That said, it is noisy. You can hear the fan from outside the bathroom which isn't an issue in our home but it would not work in - say - a bedroom. Its loud enough that it would bother me. A sound sleeper, maybe not, but I'm a light sleeper.

Finally!!!! It works!!! I would rate this product a perfect 10. I have been trying forever to get something that gets rid of urine smells. And OMG I don't smell any !!! This is a game changer ! I have several threw out my house. I highly recommend this wonderful product to all. Worth the money. Thank you .

Purchased to reduce odor in a small litter box room. After trying for 4 days there was noticeable reduction in the odor. This is a room that has a door to the outside and a door to the garage. These doors are opened frequently. The litter box room also has an open doorway into our main living area. The device may work better for a more enclosed space. We returned for a refund.

Slightly bigger than I expected, but still fits on my wall just fine! I bought this to put in my room at work since I have clients in and out all day. I like that it's discreet. Exactly one person has asked me what it is in the last week that it's been plugged into my wall. Most people don't notice it, even though they stand right next to it. There is a little bit of sound, and the fan speed cannot be controlled. But it's really not distracting or even noticeable unless the room is silent. Even then, it's probably good white noise. I bought it for air purification and feel confident that it's working to do just that! I'm curious to see how my allergies respond, since I struggle with them year-round. The bulb replacement seems very simple, although it will be a while before I need to worry about that. Great little purifier!

I made a mistake and thought this "air purifier" was a plug-in ozone machine; it is not--it popped up when I searched for ozone machines. I have rented ozone machines in the past and they are amazing for removing odors (e.g. cat urine). An effective ozone machine leaves the room smelling a bit like pool chlorine. I searched for an ozone machine online and among the results was this, "air purifier." It never claimed to be an ozone machine, but I thought it was so it was my fault entirely. It was a great price and I even bought two. I was excited to receive them, plug them in, and smell the results. No results. That's when I figured out this item is really just a small, plug-in fan. The fan (about the size of a laptop fan) pulls in air, runs the air over a supposed UV light, and exhausts the purported clean air. As far as I can tell, it's a fan with a blue light inside, nothing more. It doesn't make the room smell better, it doesn't get rid of smells, and is as effective as my iMac fan in improving air quality. Again, my mistake for buying it (actually buying two), but I would not buy it again. I guess you could say, the product...stinks.

The media could not be loaded. I was a bit skeptical about this device, but after reading all the other reviews I decided to give it a try. My bathroom in my house has no windows and always has a musty smell, I upgraded the exhaust fan and that helped a lot, but leaving it in all day makes no sense either. I installed this thing in seconds and let it's do it job, 3-8 hours went by it really didn't seem to make a difference, I was kinda bummed, the next morning I went to check and holy Batman 95% of the smell is gone! I was ecstatic! And since then it's has kept the smell away. So far noise goes, it does not bother me one but, it's no louder than a laptop operating.
