I read the bad reviews first, then ordered these and held my nose, as I’m clearing about 1,500 feet of forest for a large path for a tractor and full size pickup, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. Thick dense woods combo of large medium and small trees. Let’s just say that whatever fits in the jaw goes down easy. I’m 6 feet2 inch tall, large upper body and strength, so the wide open jaw start does not affect me as would a smaller person, so consider that. I’m 59.5 years old. Awesome loppers, especially for the larger 2 inch small trees and saplings. I sprayed with silicone first, to keep them clean and operating smooth, then went to town… I can’t believe the speed and cut down hundreds of trees, did not even scratch these things. if you break these you must be doing something stupid. They will not disappoint!

These are great clippers. Very solid and strong. Easily cuts through tree limbs 3 to 4 inches in size. Very happy with this purchase.

These loppers are fantastic. Nips through over 1.5" diameter maple branches with ease. The gearing assist and the sharpness of the blade are absolutely great. Works fantastic as part of my chainsawing kit, can clean up a ton of brush before I switch to the saw or if I have someone assisting. Stop shopping, buy this sucker. Completely worth the money.

Here is what I like and what I don’t. First the clippers will cut anything that you can get between the blades. Not much pressure is required. As others have mentioned, they do seem heavy if you are cutting over your head. I am 80 years old with skinny arms. Additionally they have to be opened all the way to get the bigger limbs in. But, I like them and would purchase them again-but maybe a different model. Update-I returned them for a model that cuts 1.5 inches. Happy

These lopers appear to be very sturdy and will likely cut very well as all the other pruning tools I have of this brand but the blade and anvil are too large manoeuver in the areas I need. If that isn't a problem for you they will be great. I had to order a smaller size.

Ok I like tools a lot. It I say any more they will ban this post.Anyway this thing cuts like nuts. I hit branches over and over and this thing slices them like they are paper.It is seriously insane how sharp and powerful this thing is.I would but another one just to support them but I have not been able to make the first one dull no matter what I do.If there is an idiot proof tool this is it.
