Coffee with chicory
Why did you pick this product vs others?:My mother in law was from Mobile Alabama, Cajun country. She was always giving us coffee with chicory. That has been years ago. I decided to try it again, so I ordered some French Market with chicory from Amazon. Omg...I had forgot how good this coffee is. It has no bitter taste like some other coffees and it's stronger so you don't have to use as much, therefore it will last longer. I just got two more cans I ordered. This is MY coffee now, I won't be buying any other kind now!!!!! I'm a happy happy woman!!!! LolTaste:Wonderful

Jackpot Find — Bold, Flavorful Coffee with a Unique Twist at an Incredible Price!
While scouring Amazon for a quality dark roast coffee at a good price, I found the French Market Coffee & Chicory Restaurant Blend — and I’m so glad I did! Three 12-ounce cans for under $20 is an amazing deal, especially considering how good this coffee tastes.I wasn’t sure what to expect from coffee blended with chicory root, but the flavor pleasantly surprised me. It has a rich, dark roast base with earthy, slightly woodsy notes from the chicory that add depth and a subtle caramel sweetness. The blend is smooth and flavorful without being too strong or bitter. This isn’t the most intense coffee I’ve had, which works well for days when I want a bold but balanced cup without feeling jittery. The medium-dark roast is just right — robust yet smooth and enjoyable any time of day.Overall, this coffee is excellent quality for the price, and it’s quickly become one of my favorites. If you’re curious about chicory coffee or just want a delicious dark roast with a twist, I highly recommend giving this a try. Five stars all around!

Great taste!
I wanted to try this because I was curious about the taste of chicory coffee which I’d never had before. Now, maybe this is just me but what I tasted was really good, bold, flavorful coffee which I love. I couldn’t detect a different taste that might be the chicory, which begs the question as to what percentage is in fact coffee & what percentage is chicory. It does not say on the can! This ambiguity of the content mixture also makes it impossible to know what percentage of this coffee has caffeine? Nonetheless I loved the taste & do recommend it if you like dark coffee.

Only Use Half a Tablespoon Per Cup!
So...I didn't follow the brewing instructions and enthusiastically made a pot with a slightly heaping tablespoon of grounds per cup, and the result was NOT good. In fact, I did not want to ever use it again. Still sipping the awful concoction, I came to Amazon and read just the one star reviews and I laughed, because I could relate. THEN, after finally seeing the instructions to only use half a tablespoon of grounds per cup, I made another pot and once again fixed myself a cup with a rounded teaspoon of coconut sugar and some half and half. Brewed correctly, it's a light, very bearable alternative to regular coffee, with the benefits of chicory, which I did notice right away. I will use it when I want to give my adrenals a break from my strong usual coffee, which is Lavazza Espresso Italiano. So that's three stars for being a decent coffee-like alternative, and an extra star for its chicory health benefits.

Chicory is my friend
I love this coffee, every sip I imagine I'm in New Orleans. The taste is so rich and smooth. It is finely ground and you get grounds in the bottom of your cup, well worth the taste. The chicory is what makes it so smooth, no bitter taste at all. It costs 10.99 at Publix supermarket here in Florida. It's of course less expensive on Amazon. I use one of those non- disposable plastic Kcups to use in a Keurig I brew a 12 ounce cup. Try it you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic coffee
I did not know what to expect when I purchased this coffee, it is now my favorite coffee! The price is what drew me to it in order to try it. I do not use kcups anymore or coffee makers, I use a small glass pot with a non bleached cone shaped filter and pour boiling hot water over it each morning. The coffee tastes so much better I have found, as well as make one to two cups at a time to eliminate waste. What I have found with this delicious coffee is, less is more!! You do not need to put more than two spoons (which is strong) per small glass pot like mine. If you put more then it is like espresso which I like as well.I give this coffee a 👍 and since the first can I have bought 3 more for backup because I am still on my first can!

A Strong Robust Coffee
I'm giving these 5 stars even though I do not care for it because it is a good coffee. I just didn't realize it is a French roast, and I do not like French roasts. I gave it to a friend who loved it and said it is delicious. I found it too rich for my tastes. If you like coffee so strong it can make your hair stand on end, this is the one for you.
