I like the Caldwell Carbon Fiber Bipods, as they seem to do the job and weigh almost nothing! I have not used the more professional models from Harris nor Atlas, but for the money, these seem very sturdy, easy to use and easy to attach, and do not add much weight nor do they cost as much as those other models.

This seemed great at first, lightweight and easy to deploy. However after a couple weeks of hunting the ball joint gets completely loose. It cannot be tightened either. Once that happens its pretty worthless. So if you want a throw away bipod to only use for a couple weeks, then buy this one. Otherwise steer clear.

Just got this bipod and appears to be solid construction where I won’t have to worry about swivel attachment coming loose like in the cheap model I had before. Also very light. Looking forward to using on Fall mule deer hunt.

Very nice carbon fiber bipod for the money. However tools (that do come with the bipod) are required to install and uninstall the bipod from the rifle which is a big downside for me.

Unfortunately, the Caldwell Accumax Bipod was not compatible with my Ruger 10/22 rifle. The space between the barrel ring screw and the front, swivel stud is barely a half inch. Thus the front end of the bipod mount does not fit accordingly without modification to the underside of the stock. Solution: I purchased a bench bag. The overall quality of the Caldwell Accumax Bipod was structurally solid, but stiff, including leg-deployment, and the swivel arm that controls the direction of the bipod. But I suppose, just like everything else, use it a few times and fine-tune it accordingly.

Ignored the reviews because it looked really nice and tried it anyway. Attached it and it flops and wobbles all over the place. This is really the worst design ever if you plan to hunt with it. It will flop, make noise, swing to the side and catch on every possible branch there is. It's a ball and socket for tensioning but doesn't tighten enough. In fact there's close to an eighth inch of play fully tightened which allows it to swivel to the side and bounce up and down just by moving the gun around. Despite how nice it sounds, don't do it to yourself. The reviews are correct. This bipod is awful.

Product looked well made just missing the sling swivel pin that attached the bipod to the rifle. I sent a service request to the company explaining the damage packaging and requesting they send me the missing pin. The bipod is useless without this part.At this time I am awaiting a response. I will update my review after a reasonable opportunity to respond.

Very light weight and easy to install.

Pricey, but a good product. The click of the lock might be a bit noisy for some folks. I like the ‘no ugly springs’ look.
