I use this device connected via Bluetooth to provide amient background audio for our Halloween haunted house and graveyard! The portability and battery-powered capability of this loudspeaker system provide flexibility to place the unit in a preferred outdoor location, perfect for hiding it in the graveyard and playing scary music. The quality of the sound is fabulous at this price point, making the unit a great value. Make sure to power-off the unit when charging overnight so overheating is avoided. There is a separate dedicated "on" switch" for battery charging. Note: I could not find the "0.5" model.

I was quite pleased with the sound at first. But after just a few months, the PA speaker became defective. The speaker would stop outputting sound (nothing from the mics) a few minutes after turning on the unit, and the a loud constant clicking noise starts to be emitted instead.On a side note, the bluetooth module of the unit I purchased never worked - no power. It's just that I didn't intend to use the bluetooth module so I chose to live with that.I contacted Pyle for warranty repair service and they asked me to ship back the entire unit (a 50lb heavy item, even though they did provide a label, but it was still a big hassle to package and ship it). I did so.A few days later, they sent back the "repaired" unit - the warranty info sheet says they replaced power board). But unfortunately the exact same issue developed soon after I started using the speaker again. So it was not repaired successfully. (the bluetooth also did not get repaired, even though I mentioned it during the warranty claim).At this point I'm really fed up by the system and asked Amazon for a possible return out of the standard return window.Thankfully Amazon did agree to take it back, minus a 20% restocking fee, which I accepted since it did work for a few months at least.

I have regularly felt it would be good to have a solid PA unit, and an upcoming meeting that now needs to be held outdoors due to COVID finally motivated me to purchase one. After quite a bit of looking, coupled with long acquaintance with the Pyle brand, the PHP1599WU (plus a matching stand) looked like my best fit. Shipping was delayed a couple days for some reason, but it arrived yesterday and I unboxed and tested it tonight. Everything worked out of the box, though it did take some exploring to figure out the built-in FM radio. One plus that I missed when looking at the catalog is that this unit includes an extensible handle and wheels, just like modern luggage. Hard to argue with that. The controls and remote work as expected and the sound is quite good from each of the sources. I am looking forward to using it in my upcoming meeting -- lets hope for nice weather....

Did not get microphone which I should have got it because I did register my productions

This thing is powerful and an awesome system. Fair warning though you will need to have some technical skills to understand how to control the sound. Flip side to that is that you have a lot of control of the sounds. I have zero issues with this system for what I paid for it. Powerful, not terribly heavy, and comes with two decent microphones that can be used at the same time and over the music being streamed over Bluetooth. I wish I had this when I was younger in a band. That is a killer deal!

After 1 or 2 years use, the plastic will crumble like saltine crackers. I have repeatedly replaced this items realizing that the plastic is made of a low quality density plastic. Not worth buying. Best to purchase the item in some sort of metal such as aluminum.

There are many options when it comes to consumer grade non commercial bluetooth speakers. I can tell you I over researched the various options but it paid off. This speaker is an absolute beast and does everything as advertised. I used it for an outdoor party in Mexico and for some karaoke. All I can tell you is that this thing is way louder than most anyone will need with quite good sound quality (just as long as the music you were feeding into it is solid). The mics worked flawlessly even at distances of 50 ft or more. Keep in mind we were on the beach with a good breeze blowing and there was no problem hearing clearly. Very pleased with this one and may have to look into a second to connect to it for the bigger gatherings. Hey I am a guy and I like having the potential for more...

PTO purchased this for our music Teacher at our elementary, it Broke after one school use and have been arguing with Pyle ever since to get it repaired! After spending school money to get a box large enough and pay for shipping to send it back to Pyle it was sent back to the school with a broken wheel and is no longer mobile. Customer Service is Horrible and Amazon is no help!
