I've listened to Beats, Panasonic, Sony, Sennheiser, and VModa, and was amazed that these off-brand $25 headphones sound better (to me anyway) than anything in the $80-$200 range I've ever tried out. They are very clear and detailed, and have a smooth, clear, pleasant frequency response curve that doesn't have the pronounced breathy midrange (around the 800Hz-1.5kHz range) that most headphones have. The lowest lows and the highest highs and everything in between gets full and fair treatment, and these can put out a strong 30Hz wave without buzzing or rattling.The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they have room for improvement in the design; the cups don't have swivel joints so they fit flat on your head, and although they look like on-ear, they are advertised on the box as over-ear, but most people would consider them somewhere in between. As a result the fit, while acceptable, is not as comfortable as I would like... So, Five Stars for sound quality, Three Stars for design.

My husband's headphones recently broke and I bought this headset as a replacement. He listens to sporting events on his computer in the same room where I am watching television. Sometimes he watches sporting events on the television and listens to something else on the computer during commercials. As a real media junkie, he has the headphones on and off, and this set has stood up to the abuse he dishes out. I was happy that the price was very reasonable and that he can hear perfectly on this set and I can hear my tv show.

I'm an urban dweller and a fierce believer in public transit. I look forward to the two hours that wrap around my workday -- morning and evening. After a Zen hour on the train (or ferry), I arrive at work in a good mood. On the evening commute, I decompress so that when I get home, I'm unplugged from the worker-bee world. I like to use my commuting time to read and often like to invite John Coltrane into my skull via cell phone. Other times, I'm feeding my addiction to a true-crime podcast. The problem, though, is that ear buds *hurt.* Finally, I decided to treat myself to some *good* headphones -- the kind I had in the pre-cell phone era, the kind my father used to have. So I jumped on Amazon, found these, and thumbed off an order. I could not be happier. The sound quality and comfort are excellent. Great quality for a very low price. High recommended!

These headphones are built well and put out a pretty good sound, but are very tight. I'm 6' tall and my head is slightly smaller in proportion to my body, and this headset puts a lot of pressure on my ears. The material that is used and padding around the ear pieces are decent, but the band's bend is way too tight forcing the ear pads to cause discomfort to my ears and sides of my head. I can only wear these about 30-60 minutes at a time, then I need to take them off for a break. I've been forcefully stretching them (placing the ear pads on either end of an 11" book) for many hours during the day, and throughout the night, but it hasn't been helping too much. I've only had these about a week and half, so I'm hoping they'll stretch out to give more comfort down the road.

Really like how the connector has a 90 degree bend so little hands can push them into their devices. Great sound quality and comfort. Well worth the very reasonable price!Update: well one side of the headphone stopped working on BOTH sets that we bought, so they only lasted about six months.

I purchase these headphones because of the reviews and the price I saw for them. I was in the hunt for desktop computer headphones with excellent sound quality and comfortable on the ears. Once I purchase them the product shipped super fast to my address. I tried them out and they are the best ones I purchase so far. I wanted some other headphones on amazon but the price was not in my budget at the time. I wanted headphones with noise canceling and deep bass. These headphones have great bass but not noise canceling, but they will do for now unless something happens to them. The sound quality is five stars and the quality of the headphones are great for the price!
