The bag is great, it holds everything I need without feeling huge (like some of the swiss gear bags). The only complaint I have is the side pockets are quite snug, so putting a normal reusable water bottle in them is a tight fit (almost to the point where I'm worried it will break if I do it too much, but it seems fine so far).

I don't like to spend $80+ on bags. I bought a TSA approved messenger bag a few years ago because I travel a lot for work. The backpacks at the time all cost over 80 for a tsa approved backpack and I just wasn't going to spend that kind of money. I had been using that bag and did not like having all the weight of my heavy work laptop on one shoulder, so I decided to look for another backpack. I came across this bag which was not too expensive, and it looked nice and professional.It has been awesome. It fits more than the messenger bag does, and I still have the messenger bag as backup if I need it. I do not know about water resistance since i have not been caught in a downpour with it. But I love being able to just unzip the bag to seperate the laptop compartment for security rather than pulling the laptop out. It is SOOO much easier and quicker. Because of this bag (and because I do various other things to make getting through security faster), I can get everything set up to go through security about 3 minutes faster than my boyfriend, but putting everything back in its place I am up to 5 minutes faster. I have it down to a science! And this bag helps a lot with it. Zip down to go through security, zip up once on other side. No pulling computer out and putting it back in. Plenty of space in main compartment for if I am just doing a 1 day work gig to put a change my clothes, pjs and toiletries. Not enough room for another pair of shoes, but that can be planned into my airport outfit.It does come with this thing with spot to plug your phone charger into usb on side of bag, and something on inside of bag to plug that usb into something like a battery backup. I tried using it but never got it to work. Not a big deal for me, but if you are looking for that USB thing to work, it may not.Ultimately, great for travelling with computer through airports. Not as expensive as some other TSA approved backpacks. And it fits underneath airline seats, so does not need to go in overhead bin.

Update: October 8th:Backpack successfully survived extra heavy rain. My laptop remained totally dry, but my notebooks got a bit wet/moist. Nothing catastrophic so I am going to change the review to 4 starts. Please note that I was standing on rain without an umbrella for About 15 minutes. Waterproof can be upgraded, but now it is ok.I was looking into this backpack with a grain of salt when purchasing. I was proven wrong by its quality and compatibility.The backpack is nice to the touch, it seems small at the first glance but don't let its looks fool you. It can store a lot of stuff into in. It is really good for traveling as of the back that its footprint is really small when fully loaded. I use it on the bus and train to the college and I love it. I would recommend it for traveling purposes.The only thing I didn't get to test out is its water-resistant feature. I wasn't caught by rain yet. I imagine it to be very good as noted by other reviews. I will update this review once I get to use it in the rain.The only con is that the USB cable is too short to be routed away from the expected slot for the power bank. I would like if the cord was a bit longer but it is manageable.

Love my backpack! Great quality, and comfortable for everyday use. I love all the pockets and ease of access for everything. It’s sturdy, and not cheaply made at all! Lots of space without looking too bulky. It can hold all my tech accessories and them some. I have my tablet, laptop, wires, mouse glasses etc there’s a spot for everything and even a key fob! Haven’t used this around water so I don’t know how water resistant it is yet, but overall the best backpack for tech I’ve have in the last decade!

I travel for living and always have a backpack with me. and this one is by far my favorite one. Its so easy to get through TSA with and with all the compartments its so easy to separate and find things. Also no idea how the science of it works but when i switched backpacks to this one i transferred all the stuff that was in my old one and the way this bag holds it or sits on my back feels like its about 15lbs lighter! it distributes the weight perfectly! i will definitely buy this bag again!

This was the third backpack my husband ordered on Amazon for his computer. He was tired of carrying a briefcase now that we have two little ones at home. He absolutely LOVES this backpack. His words, "I'm just really really happy with it. Everything feels really secure and padded." So there you have it folks, 5 outta 5.

I bought this for my husband and he LOVES it. It has the same volume as my previous bag that he kept borrowing but has a much smaller profile. He is just over 6 feet tall and it fits his back perfectly. The features are perfect for an engineer or business traveler--pockets for computers, tablets, battery packs, cables, earphones, cards, pens, etc. It seems like it will be durable--we've only had it for a month. I will update if it fails.

I purchased this a graduation gift, hoping it was going to come with all of the parts necessary for use as a batter-charging backpack. Unfortunately it did not come with a power source or chargeable external battery for the backpack. It does have a USB cord sewn into a side for a power source, but no power source. I wish that was clear in the item description, instead, I gave a gift that couldn't fully function to a high school student.I will say that the quality of the backpack and the size was amazing. I love the color and carrying capacity. Here's to finding a power source to accompany it.

Absolutely loved this bag, its size is not too big and still can hold a lot of items. Quality is supreme. Can be used for traveling or office use too.
