My guinea pigs absolutely love this bed! I usually put it under their huts because they don’t usually like to be out in the open, and wow ... they FOUGHT over it the first day! I may have to get another... lol. I love the tie attached, so I can secure it in their cage so it doesn’t move around and it’s just super adorable :)

I like the idea of a sniffle pad. I couldn’t figure out how to make my own so I like that it was made for me. However, my dog is too smart and simply lifts the pad up, shakes it for the treats, and then tosses the pad around to amuse herself. It wasn’t quite the stimulation I was hoping for her. Might be cool to have an option to tie it to something?

Oh, my dogs loved it! I used hot dogs and treats, and watched them on camera having fun for over an hour!!!!! When you have to work, and feel bad that your dog is at home alone? This is something your dog deserves, you should definitely buy it for them! use hot dogs, or good smelling treats, and toss in washing machine and dryer to clean. I also recommend the lickable suction cup silicone mats 4 time distraction and also to give a bath and keep your dog still while you bathe them.the next thing is a rolling ball that dispenses food or treats! And if you love your dog, buy them a sweater and keep them warm during the cold months! be the owner you wish your owner would be to you if you were the dog!

My pup would eat her food in record time. By the time I put it in her bowl and walked away...her food was gone.I bought one of those “slow feed” bowls with the channels in it and it helped. (you can see it it in the picture (pink).When I heard about the snuffle mats, I knew my pup would love it. She loves to sniff around and forage.Her eating time with the bowl became about 1.5-2 min. With the snuffle mat, she’s engaged in her food for about 8 min!We still use the bowl on weekday mornings, but otherwise it’s the mat. She loves it!One thing though: this mat does NOT have a Non-Slip backing like the headline reads. It’s felt. The rest of the mat is a thin felt (with a small ring of thin fleece). My pup stands on the mat while she forages, so it still works great for her.

I bought this for my pig Piper. She definitely approves. I place sunflower seeds or cheerios all over it and she spends quite some time rooting through the fabric trying to find them. I had bought a different rooting mat before for my other pet pig, but for some reason this one seems to make it a little more harder for Piper to find the food which is what I wanted. Keeps her occupied a lot longer. It is small, I will say that, but Piper is small too (only 10lbs), so it works great for us! The colors are really pretty too. We are both pleased with this item!

One of my dogs has always eaten out of bowls like it was a trap about to snap shut. This is one of the first snuffle mats I tried, and she now eats both meals off of this, and keeps her snout buried in the mat through the entire meal. These work well for both of my dogs, 15 lbs. and 18 lbs. Some slight wear showing, but holding up okay overall for twice daily usage and regular washing, which is why I am going with 4 stars instead of 5.

So this has been the best and worst thing that’s ever happened to me! My pup was being weird about eating and I stumbled across this mat and I figured, why not! Ok so now my little pupperoni is a DIVA and will ONLY eat her food if I sprinkle it in this mat! Like stares at it in her food dish until I move it. Oy! But on the plus side, she’s eating her food more regularly, so fine by me! It’s a weird thing but it works great and she loves it!

I came across this and figured it was affordable to try and see if she likes it. She is enjoying eating her food and having to root around for it. Durable enough for the price. I have not washed it yet, but when I do I will use the gentle cycle just to be safe. I'm definitely glad I bought it and highly recommend!

Ordered this for my 17 year old (greedy!) Border Terrier, he loves it! Really entertains him! Wish I had known about these much earlier.

My blind dog loves this! Was struggling to find something fun for him for Xmas and this was the perfect gift! We hide pieces of chicken in it and he snuffles through it which he finds really fun!

My dog loves her snuffle mat so much. Molly used to hide her treats everywhere, in my shoes, in the laundry basket, under my pillow, ewwwww....... I found these snuffle mats by accident and thought these had to be worth a try. It only took a minute or two for Molly to get the idea. I started by hiding her treats in the mat so she could see the possibilities for hiding her own bits and pieces. I hide treats in there before I go out and Molly loves it. Such a great idea. By the way, they wash up great in the washing machine.

I bought three of these as I have three dogs and so far they are working really well. I was worried after I read about some dogs eating a plastic backing to these so was delighted to discover that these do not have the plastic backing on them just felt so no worries there. The colours are all different and the three look great on my narrowboat just hanging up!

This rug is quite small, so just double check the sizing specifications, and is only really suitable for a toy dog. Also, if you really want to treats to be hidden within the rug you can't just scatter them on top, you have to sort of move the ruffles around and bury the treats in there yourself.With that all said, I think my dog does enjoy snuffling around, although she's a very good scavenger so it doesn't take her long to eat her dinner even when it's hidden in the rug!
