I bought these based on the reviews I had read as appears to have good reviews.I wouldn't recommend these at all, they are not secure, therefore not safe.They are easy to fit which is the good side. But they are not secure. When it latches together it will stop the door/draw from opening if pulled gently, if any type of forceful pull (like a child would do) the latch doesn't stay connected and just slips off and the draw opens.I will be opting for one that locks/clicks into place when secure as these are clearly not suitable.

I bought a set of these to childproof a few of our kitchen cupboards and drawers.For the first couple of weeks they were installed, as an adult I almost forgot they were even there - any reasonable tug on the door and they pop right open. They didn't fit on any of our drawers - more down to the design of the drawers not having a bar of any sort to affix the catch bit to - something worth considering if you are looking to child proof your own drawers too.We've had them installed on the cupboards for a few months now, and so far, they have mostly stopped my 15 month year old from getting in; however, there's been one or two occasions where she has managed to open the doors while we're not looking. She can't reach the catch - so she must have done it by either by tugging on the door, or falling backwards while having hold of it. I will be replacing them with something more sturdy when she gets older but I think they're just about ok for now.The lever to lock the latch into the open position is a neat little feature, but the whole set is of the same orientation, so if you have a double door type cupboard, on one side the lever will be easy to operate and difficult to operate on the other side. Similarly, depending on where you position the latch, it might hinder closing the cupboard door - it'd be much better if the set contained a couple where the lever was on the opposite side or if they had designed it to be interchangeable.

Put these on today and they were great; they have tiny screws but I’ve just used the stickers for now. Word of warning, decide where to put it before you take the sticker protector off...as they stick strongly and I had trouble getting them off to move them..Really like the ‘catch’ that you can clip them so they don’t have to always be ‘on’...so I’ve set them all up ready for when my daughter will get to the drawers but I don’t have to use them until I’m ready too...or I can clip them off when she’s older...very cleaver idea.Even better I could do this rather than needing the man to drill these in! Meant it got finished before she turned 18!!

I bought the real rotek child safety locks a while ago and these been great. Decided to buy more because my 1 year old now likes to venture into the cupboard.The box looks the same all over but it's a different box type to Rotek and the 3M adesive it stats having is just simply normal double sided sticky tack. Rotek has a much stronger Adesive!!I'm sending mine back as I'm not convinced with these. Definatially not the same and no point installing them with risks of my child getting to unsafe items!Buy the Rotek child safety locks, they will be much better

Great safety mechanism. Adhesion is second to non! A year and a half later and our cupboards/draws are still child safe! Easy to install although you must line then up. When first installing lightly you have several attempts which really helps. Great option between the 3M stickers and screws (which were proved with extras).I LOVE the on/off lock option...it makes accessing draws/cupboards easier when the little one isn’t hanging around!

These don’t work. We bought these to keep our DOG from opening up cupboard doors and drawers, and if these don’t prevent her from opening things, then I definitely would NOT trust these around children. There’s no resistance at all, I literally can open any of the drawers and doors without any sort of struggle.

Unfortunately not suitable for my kitchen units. I have standard howden’s units with oak Worktops and no matter how I placed these I could not make them accessible or usable! Had to order magnetic ones to replace!

Needs to be used on solid surfaces - if your drew tilts or moves only a fraction it does not lock - getting your finger in to depress the button may be a problem on some draws - and a 18month old boy worked this out in less than a minute
