Somehow a lighting surge made it past so many surge protectors yet still traveled up this and this got fried but saved the device.

Only puts out 11.87 volts and not 12 volts! Thought the chip set was fried but it wasn’t.!

I purchased these to use with a PoE switch and BEFSR41 router. Eliminated so many power adapter wires using these things.

Utilisé avec une caméra CTronics qui n'est pas POE, ça marche très bien pour l'instant depuis quelques semaines. Pourvu que ça dure. Par contre la prochaine fois j'achèterai directement une caméra POE.

仕事柄業務用ネットワーク機器を自宅で使用しているので、結構PoE対応のポートもあったりします。民生用機器だとPoEに対応している機器というのは基本的にないと思いますが、無線LANアクセスポイントであったり、IP監視カメラであったりと、LANケーブル1本で給電できた方が便利なデバイスは探すと意外とあるのではないでしょうか。本機器のようなスプリッタを使うことで、PoE非対応の機器の電源をPoEから給電することが可能になります。もちろん保証対象外になると思いますし、使用したい機器の仕様をきちんと確認して適切なモデルを選択する必要があるため万人にお勧めできるわけではないですが、私は便利に活用できています。
